Captain Caveman Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 The amazing thing, reading this thread, is how many have had "scariest moments" entirely due to our own stupidity. Yeah, mine was definitely my own stupidity. On my third date with my (now) wife, I took a sharp corner going way too fast, on a wet back road, driving a deathtrap (Geo Metro.) The car ended up skidding 270 degrees, and we wound up ass end in a ditch. During the spin out we missed a tree by a couple of feet, if we had hit it I'm thinking one or both of us would have been killed or at least seriously mangled.
