(OT) Years from now

And they’ll walk out to the bleachers; sit in parkas and hunting outfits on a snowy, windy, freeze-your-nuts-off afternoon. They’ll find they have reserved seats somewhere near the 50-yard-line, where they sat when they were children and cheered their heroes. And they’ll watch the game and it’ll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters. The memories will be so thick they’ll have to brush them away from their faces. They will make the playoffs, Ray. The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been cowbell. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But cowbell has marked the time. This field, this game: it’s a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh… they will make the playoffs Ray. They will most definitely make the playoffs.

on a completly seperate note there, Fonz, you do realize that your signature is from Green Day, one of the biggest media sellouts of all time. They prided themselves on being loyal to their fans, and "keeping it real", but once they realized the "media" would get their voices out, and they could cash in, they jumped right at the chance - started changing their music to fit the "pop"-ish type radio stations and make millions

Just a side note.

Yeah, I care about that. It's the message that the words convey, nothing more.

If you think Green Day is one of the biggest sellouts of all time, you don't know much about the entertainment industry.

Sorry, of course you know more about the entertainment industry - just like you know more about everything else. You learn all this stuff when you alt-tab away from the wall for two seconds? Anyway, they are huge sell outs, and there is no way to measure that (promises made to fans followed by changing their ways to fit into mainstream to make the almighty dollar), so you can have this one, as being right is your top priority.

Just thought you'd like to know you are quoting some of the biggest hypocrites around today. That's all.
