Booster4324 Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 Update Elsewhere, a gunman dressed in a police uniform opened fire at a Labor Party youth camp at Utoya, an island outside Oslo, on Friday, shooting several youths, party spokesman Per Gunnar Dahl told The Associated Press. He said unconfirmed reports said five people were hit as panicked youth tried to escape the island swimming. It wasn't immediately clear if the two attacks were related. The newspaper quotes Will McCants, a terrorism analyst at C.N.A., a research institute that studies terrorism, as saying the group called the attacks a response to Norwegian forces' presence in Afghanistan and to unspecified insults to the Prophet Muhammad.
