using a single statistic to prove or disprove a singular point-of-view is the reason why the saying "you can make ststistics prove anything" exists.[/size]

Over the past decade the Bills have had one winning season. Over the past decade the Bills have had no playoff appearances. Whether you go back a decade or half a century the statistics conclusively indicate a franchise with a mediocre record. You don't have to be a mathematical genius to interpret the statistics on this particular franchise. The obvious is usually the obvious.

is there any team with a winning record in their history? I dont mean like 1 or 2 wins, but a good deal more wins then losses

A few:

Packers 656-518-36

Steelers 531-495-20

Colts 442-391-7

49'ers 503-412-15

Bears 695-507-42

vikings 407-326-9

redskins 542-507-27

Chargers 376-371-11

Some newbies:

Ravens 117-108-1

Jags 126-116-0

These particularly hurt...

Cowboys 434-316-6

Patriots 388-361-9

Giants 627-519-33

Phins 389-281-4

surprisingly:

Browns 480-389-13

Cheifs 117-108-1

Rams 504-485-20

And even the feekin raiders 411-336-11

Before Polian and after they have sucked. The common factor? Ralph Wilson. Only when this guy is out of the picture does this franchise really have a chance to turn around. Thank God we had Polian for a few years or this team would NEVER have won a superbowl and you can take about 7-8 of those winning seasons off the overall record.

When did the bills win a super bowl.... I missed that

8 ties. Whoo-hoo! I think it was 1974 or 75 they added OT to eliminate a chance of a tie. Bills had winning records in 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 73, 74, 75, 80, 81, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 95, 96, 98, 99 and 04. 21 out of 51 seasons. The problem is one winning record since 2000 and that was 6 years ago. No playoffs since 1999 and no playoff wins since 1995. 58-88 since 2001. 30 games under .500. It's not getting any better either, it's getting worse and that's where the frustration is. 2006-2008 were all 7-9 with some heartbreaking losses due to poor coaching and bad decisions from top to bottom, now instead of improving on that, it's back to square one.
