I just need to correct coach Sal on one thing: the portion of the Gailey video where he was instructing Carrington on how to align himself at the LOS, that was for a punt-protection scheme. It's not uncommon to have athletic types like Carrington play the "tackle" position on the line for punt-protection. Carrington would NEVER be instructed to line up like that as a DE in the 3-4.
