Leonidas Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 I know this has been done to death, but I'm watching the Eagles game right now, and Peters just got beaten twice for one sack and one near-sack. The first was on a bull-rush, the second he got beaten around. I saw him get beaten earlier for another near sack. I know our line is in complete disarray, and Peters is certainly better than anything we have at LT at the moment, but he is not a $60M tackle, I don't care what anybody says. The reputation of Buffalo management (and more importantly, opinionated Bills fans) rests on the performance of this man. Sure, in an ideal world, we'd leave it alone. You have to take what you can get. To be vindicated on the Peters trade is a moral victory (albeit a small one at this point).
