The thrill of it all

Todays politician ,all, is nothing more than a media event. They will decide who wins and who loses ,its good for business. I will give Obama credit he sold this message 'change' What change? Different day some old sh--.

The jury is still out. He is not bringing the troops home. As a matter of fact he will most likely send more. He will of course like all politicians give the weak minded people a reason he cant bring the troops home and they will fall right in line

There was big money backing him and thats hard to beat. He is now owned by those backers. His cult folowing will self destruct. The TV ,the most enjoyment of mankind and the biggest destroyer. I got a kick out of some of thse people on the 'streets' saying that the economy was the biggest issue, I mean really they dont have a clue what the economy is all about. Sit back and enjoy the ride. Nothing will get done because greed will take over ,they will all want a peice of the pie. When the voters wake up in the morning they will wonder when things will change .Support the troops yea right . Even the more intelligent liberals will begin to wonder what they have done. "The troops murdered those civilians in Haditha , the people in Western Pa are racists and rednecks" quote John Murtha and the people re elected him . Insult the voters and the country and they still backed him what a bunch of sheep.

What things turned around?

People have been led to believe that something has to change so anything will do. With the influnce of TV on elections the electorate is looking for an event more so than government. Keep in mind its our money they are using to look good. For instance the economic stimulis check , they were just giving us back our own money. I am a states rights guy let the federal govt run the military and let the states run the rest . And in the end isnt this election or any election all about the bottom line ...money. So now the focus will be on Obamas appointments. More media events for their (media) bottom line..money. I guess the question is , is this country in as bad shape as we are led to beleive? I put my faith in the Government to defend me against our enemies, everything else I will handle myself.

McCain should breath a sigh of relief . The country is on a downward spiral and its not over yet. Obama will have his hands full ,thru no fault of his own. The polictial situation has been a disaster for many years. However as usual in the great country the people will rise to over come. God Bless Obama and McCain.They are exceptional individuals to reach this level of politics in the country. I am sure the world watches with amazement at our political process.

I agree. If President Bush was a Republican this may have been a very different election. It will also be very interesting to see what the 'test' is that Biden was speaking about , and very possibly dangerous one for the citizens.
