Maybe the the bigger point is that other teams players still think the Bills organization is still a joke. The season dies on the vine today and the Sabres are miles behind the Bills (if that is even possible.) Nobody deserves the misery that is Buffalo sports in 2013.

the only thing worse wold be if there were 12-16 games left instead of 11. The season is dead on the vine and at least the Jags have the future to look forward to at the #1 pick. EJ has not shown anything to me yet and we still won't know by the end of the season. With the Sabres looking like they might have the worst team in decades, I would say brace yourself to Buffalo sports fans because it is only going to get worse.....

Can we just play back-ups all year, keep everyone healthy, hit the draft and FA and then just hit the re-start button next year.

That's what happens when you win 3 games in a row......Something that has happened maybe 3 times in Buffalo over the last 10 years.

I agree they are progressing but I just don't think you put a very talented team (assume there were no other injuries), in a position where if your starting QB goes down, the season is over....It's not fair to the rest of the team or the fans.

Of course I was not saying Freeman should have been backup last night, I am saying that the Bills HAVE to make every effort to get that guy in Buffalo today. More important than having him ready in 10 days is having someone who I believe would be a great backup option in case this happens again.

You think that was Gailey's call? Hmmmm - Josh Freeman should be called today with no worries about who's ego is bruised. Maybe Freeman would want to go somewhere he is named starter but that phone call HAS to be made regardless.

I think you can insert the word joke right here. This is the perfect example of why I started this thread. Why Jackson did not play last year is beyond me because if they had, he probably would have been the backup last night. If this front office had an ounce of balls like Seattle did when they started Wilson over Flynn, things would be different. Get all the talent in here and then let it shake out...

actually, it's incredibly important point because a mediocre quarterback would have won this game and if EJ Manuel plays next week,it could turn out to be an even bigger mistake with this loss
