  1. Not only were the Bills unable to generate anything on offense, the defense was not able to have 1 stop the entire game as the Pats went for it on every fourth down (when they were in FG territory) and scored a TD on all their offensive possessions. Worst game I ever attended/saw as a Bills fan.
  2. Just updated the original post to show the home team. Here's where you can find the scores of the Bills vs Pats: http://www.footballdb.com/teamvsteam.html?tm=19&opp=4
  3. I agree! I want to see the Bills do that to the Pats in Foxboro.
  4. In 2001, the Bills had Robosack Johnson and AVP, I hope you're not referring to either one of those guys?! Flutie's last year in Buffalo was in 2000. In regards to Fitz, the coaching staff should have left his throwing mechanics alone as they did more harm than good. I hope Pettine is plugging the gashing wounds because the defense has been atrocious over the last 3 years, and in the Redskins preseason game this year.
  5. I hope so, it would be great to start racking up some wins against Brady before he retires, that way he can have more than just the Buffalo hotels to b*tch about!
  6. The last Bills QB to beat the Pats was Drew Bledsoe in 2003 (31-0). Fitz is a backup at best. I liked Fitz and wanted him to succeed, but he was very inaccurate and inconsistent beyond 15 yards.
  7. Trust me, it was painful adding up all the stats. It would be great if we could start to see the stats (more importantly, wins) start to lean more towards the Bills.
  8. Since 2000, the Buffalo Bills win/loss record against the Patriots has been 3-23…Ouch!!! Since the start of the millennium, the Bills have faced three New England Quarterbacks: Drew Bledsoe, Tom Brady and Matt Cassel, while the Patriots faced the following Bills Quarterbacks: Doug Flutie, Rob "Robosack" Johnson, Alex "The Doughboy" Van Pelt, Drew Bledsoe, Kelly Holcomb, JP Losman, Trent "Captain Checkdown" Edwards, and Ryan "The Amish Popgun" Fitzpatrick. The Bills were 1-1 against Bledsoe in 2000, before Tom Brady took over as the Patriots starting QB in 2001. Since Tom Brady took over, he has amassed a 20-2 record against the Buffalo Bills, throwing for 52 TD's and 17 INT's in that timeframe. Even Matt Cassel went 2-0 against the Bills in 2008 while Tom Brady suffered a season ending knee injury in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs. In the 26 games played since 2000 between the Bills and Patriots, the Patriots have had greater success against the Bills in their second divisional matchup of the year 10 out of 13 times. Let's take a look at the scores of the first divisional games of the year against the Patriots since 2000: · BUF 16 – NE 13 (Bledsoe) (Home) · NE 21 (Home) – BUF 11 · NE 38 – BUF 7 (Home) · BUF 31 (Home) – NE 0 · NE 31 – BUF 17 (Home) · NE 21 (Home) – BUF 16 · NE 19 (Home) – BUF 17 · NE 38 (Home) – BUF 7 · NE 20 (Cassel) (Home) – BUF 10 · NE 25 (Home) – BUF 24 · NE 38 (Home) – BUF 30 · BUF 34 (Home) – NE 31 · NE 52 – BUF 28 (Home) To add it all up, the Patriots have outscored the Bills 347-242 (105 point difference). If you take out the two games Brady didn't play against the Bills, the Patriots still outscored the Bills 314-216 (98 point difference). Now here's where it gets ugly folks, the scores of the second divisional games against the Patriots: · NE 13 (Bledsoe) – BUF 10 (Home) · NE 12 –BUF 9 (Home) · NE 27 (Home) – BUF 17 · NE 31 (Home) – BUF 0 · NE 29 (Home) – BUF 6 · NE 35 – BUF 7 (Home) · NE 28 – BUF 6 (Home) · NE 56 – BUF 10 (Home) · NE 13 (Cassel) – BUF 0 (Home) · NE 17 – BUF 10 (Home) · NE 34 – BUF 3 (Home) · NE 49 (Home) – BUF 21 · NE 37 (Home) – BUF 31 To add it all up, the Patriots have outscored the Bills 381 – 130 (251 point difference) in the second divisional matchup since 2000. Take away the two games Brady did not play in against the Bills, the Patriots outscored the Bills 355 – 120 (235 point difference). In the 26 games played since 2000, the Patriots have outscored the Bills 728 – 372 (a 356 point difference). In the words of the late Ronnie James Dio: "LOOK OUT!" By looking at the scores, it's painfully obvious that the Bills have played better against the Patriots in their first divisional matchup of the year. What also confirms that even further, is that the Bills are 3-10 against the Patriots in the first divisional matchup of the year, vice 0-13 in their second divisional matchup of the year. The last time the Bills beat the Patriots in their second divisional matchup of the year, was on December 26, 1999, when the Bills (led by Doug Flutie) defeated the Patriots (led by Drew Bledsoe) 13-10 in overtime. So, if the Bills have any chance of beating the Patriots in 2013, their best chance will come this Sunday at 1:pm.
  9. Sounds just like a certain Jacksonville backup that beat the Ravens back in the 1990's...
  10. "Jay Glazer ‏@JayGlazer4m Antoine Winfield has informed the Seattle Seahawks that he is going to retire."

  12. Did the starters of the Bills Superbowl teams actually look like crap, or was it the backups? There's a big difference when the your starters look horrible (like the current Bills did on Saturday) vs your backups on a good team.
  13. "Mike Rodak ‏@mikerodak 1m Per @AdamSchefter, Kevin Kolb has a "serious" concussion and the Bills will proceed as if it's career-ending: http://es.pn/17WL0oK" According to Tim Graham, it took Kolb two months to recover from his last concussion, so the Bills should stick the fork in him and move on.
  14. No practice squad eligibility for Lewis: "Chris Mortensen ‏@mortreport 43s You are correct on ThaddeusLewis >> RT @lilOUmikey there's no chance he's eligible for the PS, nice try tho #nopracticesquad #Bills"
  15. Just saw this above: "Tim Graham ‏@ByTimGraham 26m Just a guess, but Thad Lewis probably acquired to run the scout team so Tuel and Leinart get as many legit practice reps as possible. Retweeted by Bills Daily"
  16. With this late in the season and with the Bills already having Manuel (who will be our starter) and Tuel who will be a backup, I can't imagine the Bills keeping 4 QB's on the roster during the regular season. So, if that's the case is this a "one and done" deal for both Leinhart and Lewis?
  17. The Bills will miss Levitre this year at LG as he was good at opening holes in the run game and getting to the 2nd level to take on defenders. IMO, I hope the Bills use their 1st round pick on a solid LT and move Glenn over to LG (as Mike Mayock suggested). With Glenn's size, I feel he would easily be a pro-bowl Guard. I agree. I know the Redskins had the #1 rush offense last year, but it looked like the exact same Bills defense was in there from a year ago. I would of hated to have seen the stats if RGIII played for a full half yesterday.
  18. The O-line is going to miss Levitre this year. I can see the Bills having a very hard time rushing against teams that have good D-lines. I know the Redskins had the #1 rushing offense last year, but our rush defense looked as bad as it did last year. I would of hated to seen how bad it would have been if RG3 was healthy and played a half,
  19. Yeah I saw how NE did and we know that's not what to expect from them in the regular season. The Bills on the other hand is a different story (see the past 13 years as example). If you don't agree with my prediction, then how do you think they will do this year?
  20. Usually after the 3rd preseason game, you can get a good gauge at a how a team will do in the regular season. While the Bills looked good in their first 2 preseason games, they looked terrible yesterday. Here's the regular season schedule and my predictions: 09/08 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS : Loss, We all hope EJ will be back, but we don't know that for sure. While the Pats are vulnerable without Hernandez, Gronkowski (injury) and without Welker, they still have one of the best QB's to ever play the game (even though it pains me to say that) 09/15 CAROLINA PANTHERS : Loss, game could go either way, but after seeing our run defense get shredded up yesterday (and by a 4th string QB) I'm leaning towards Carolina 09/22 @ New York Jets : Win, the Jets are worse off than the Bills 09/29 BALTIMORE RAVENS : Loss, even though the Ravens had a lot of turnover in the offseason, they're still a playoff team 10/03 @ Cleveland Browns : Win 10/13 CINCINNATI BENGALS : Loss 10/20 @ Miami Dolphins : Loss 10/27 @ New Orleans Saints : Loss 11/03 KANSAS CITY CHIEFS : Win (could go either way) 11/10 @ Pittsburgh Steelers : Loss 11/17 NEW YORK JETS : Win 12/01 ATLANTA FALCONS (TOR) : Loss 12/08 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers : Loss 12/15 @ Jacksonville Jaguars Win 12/22 MIAMI DOLPHINS : Win 12/29 @ New England Patriots : Loss I've got 6-10 for the season, I hope I'm wrong and the Bills get to .500 or better, but after yesterday's performance, I'm not confident that they will.
  21. Not sure, I'll have to check next time I'm there.
  22. We have Wegmans in Northern VA, now only if we could get Mighty Taco...
