  1. Typical. 6-10 again, same record 3 years in a row. Please tell me how Marrone is better than the last 2 clowns at HC?
  2. Why is Graham on this team?
  3. Typical Bills. What the hell was Graham jumping for?
  4. Chris Brown mentioned that there will be some players that won't be around next year due to them not wanting to be on board with the rest if the team. I wonder if he meant Dareus as one of those players?
  5. Please fire Crossman & Hackett tomorrow!!
  6. Great job Dareus! You screw the team by constantly breaking the rules, get suspended for a half (which the D got eaten up by the Pats run game), now you gave them 5 more points by jumping offsides.
  7. I agree that the Bills need a better pass catching TE. I wouldn't bank on Moeaki being that guy as he's been injured throughout his career so far (don't need another Merriman situation). I think the Bills need to surround Manuel (or the next QB) with as many weapons as possible. The defense is finally starting to come together, so it would be great to finally have a top 10 offense to go with them.
  8. Hope I'm wrong and the Bills win, but it's been 14 years since the Bills beat the Pats in the 2nd divisional matchup of the season and have not won at Gillette Stadium. Pats 31 Bills 17
  9. I hear what you're saying about Goodwin, but in regards to Graham being healthy, what good it is if he's healthy but is barely effective?
  10. I asked Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com about why Graham is being used more than Goodwin and my question made it to the Fan Friday post: http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2013/12/27/fan-friday-12-27/ "5 – Chris, I’m wondering why the Bills are using Graham more than Goodwin? IMO, the Bills are not effectively using Goodwin, as they continue to throw him an occasional deep pass to him every game. In the last Jets game, where Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods were out due to injuries, Goodwin had his best receiving game of the year as Goodwin was catching passes all over the field, and IMO, the Bills had one of their best offensive outputs of the season. I feel Goodwin can be more effective catching passes in the slot, and other parts of the field, besides going for the deep routes a couple of times a game. So far, Graham has proven to be very inconsistent as he has dropped numerous passes, and does not get the same consistent separation as Goodwin does. At this point, it seems EJ Manuel has more chemistry with Woods and Goodwin, than he does with Johnson and Graham. I would rather see Woods and Goodwin as the Bills top 2 WR’s, with Johnson in the slot as this could help Manuel’s development. Thanks for all the hard work that you do covering the Bills! CB: Goodwin has produced when given more time on the field. I think he has demonstrated dependable hands this season even in traffic. The slot might be an interesting spot for Goodwin to line up more often moving forward, though Woods could be effective inside too. The depth chart at receiver that you’re suggesting could shift in that direction going into next season. It’ll all come down to competition at training camp."
  11. Thanks! I haven't agreed with Graham being ahead of both Woods and Goodwin as I feel both WR's are better than Graham. The defense is starting to come together, but in order for the Bills to take that next step of being a playoff team and winning the division, the Bills need an elite QB. In regards to Manuel, I have no clue if he will become an elite QB in the league as he has been too inconsistent (which rookies tend to be) and has missed a significant amount of time due to injuries.
  12. I know we're only suppose to ask one question, but I feel this is a better question than my first. "If a QB is available in the early rounds of the draft that you feel has better upside than EJ Manuel, will you hesitate to draft him?"
  13. Why is TJ Graham ahead of Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin in the depth chart?
  14. It's been 14 years since the Bills beat the Pats in the 2nd game---Flutie was the QB and it was the last playoff year. Will that come to an end this Sunday, especially if Manuel is the starter (and given that he's been bad on the road)? Looking at these stats, it doesn't look promising. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/161105-bills-vs-patriots-games-since-2000its-ugly/ "To add it all up, the Patriots have outscored the Bills 381 – 130 (251 point difference) in the second divisional matchup since 2000. Take away the two games Brady did not play in against the Bills, the Patriots outscored the Bills 355 – 120 (235 point difference). In the 26 games played since 2000, the Patriots have outscored the Bills 728 – 372 (a 356 point difference). In the words of the late Ronnie James Dio: "LOOK OUT!" By looking at the scores, it's painfully obvious that the Bills have played better against the Patriots in their first divisional matchup of the year. What also confirms that even further, is that the Bills are 3-10 against the Patriots in the first divisional matchup of the year, vice 0-13 in their second divisional matchup of the year. The last time the Bills beat the Patriots in their second divisional matchup of the year, was on December 26, 1999, when the Bills (led by Doug Flutie) defeated the Patriots (led by Drew Bledsoe) 13-10 in overtime."
  15. Don't jinx yourself!
  16. I remember the preseason game where Tuel played great and fans were calling into WGR550 and wanted to know why Tuel wasn't given a chance to become the Bills starting QB.
  17. That would be a good idea. The Bills were able to draft Woods & Alonso in the 2nd round, so it would be great if the Bills could have the same kind of sucess in the draft.
  18. Dude, you're scaring with me with that rationale.
  19. I always believe you put a player in the position where he can be the most successful. JJ Watt is a former TE, but he's much more successful at being a DT.
  20. Eric Wood was a 1st round draft pick and was used as a RG, which he was good at (but not great). Once Wood was switched to Center, he's been a better Center than he was at being a RG. I know what you're saying about LT's as the Bills haven't had much success with LT's over the past 15-20 years. Now that Glenn has 2 years as being the Bills LT, will Marrone & Co make the switch...I highly doubt it.
  21. I agree. Levy & Co screwed that up big time. Speaking of switching positions, Peters was an UDFA TE when the Bills signed him. The Bills used Peters as a backup TE and ST player at first until he was given a shot as an RT. Since Peters played RT very well, and the Bills had a need for a LT, the Bills tried him out at LT and the rest is history. Same can be said with Eric Wood. Wood was drafted by the Bills to be a Guard since they sign Geoff Hamandegger (Hangartner) as their Center. Once Gailey took over, he decided to have a competition between Wood & Hangartner to see who was better at the position. Wood turned out to be the better Center and he's been very solid ever since. Don't get me wrong, I understand the whole philosophy of "If it's not broke, don't fix it," but then again, wouldn't you want to put players in positions where they could be the most successful at? George Wilson is another example of a player that made a position switch (from WR to Safety) and was very successful. Too bad, it was a great time to be a Bills fan.
  22. You're actually speaking about yourself in regards to bringing up things and being proved wrong (see post #54). In regards to the probowl, a majority of fans on here felt Jason Peters went to more probowls than he deserved. In Talley's case, he should have went to many more probowls than he did. Did you watch the Bills during their 4 Superbowl runs?
  23. Yes, the Bills did not adequately replace Levitre. The point to this thread was from what I saw on NFLN earlier in the year, when Mike Mayock stated that he felt if the Bills moved Glenn to LG, he could easily be one of the best Guard's in the league. I was on the fence with that idea as Glenn has been a very solid LT for the Bills, but if the Bills drafted a LT in either rounds 1 or 2 (and not a 7th round or UDFA like they tried in years past and failed miserably with), would be it a good idea to make the switch? It's obvious that the majority of fans think it would be a bad idea, while some think it would be a good idea. So, you think it's funny that one of the best LB's in Bills history only went to 2 probowls? I'm sure Darryl Talley wouldn't agree with your sense of humor!
