When he was the coach of Romo he gave him a list of how to handle being a starting QB in the NFL. the list was spot on! ( if you google it, it should be easy to find). While watching the MNF game Gruden states that Parcells also has a requirement list for picking franchise QB's (needs to be a 3 yr starter, needs to have 23+ wins, etc)
Dear Ralphie boy, Please find a FOOTBALL MAN with a clue, a backbone, and ideas for turning around this F'ing mess or an organizatiion you OWN!

What makes you think anyone will take Parrish? Not many Bills have trade value right now.
More like a 3rd and Parrish as a throw in.
-
Why is he not in a Bills uniform yet? Our Lb corps have been decimated, he would be an upgrade right now and with the right coaching may use some of that potential he still has.
Parrish and a 3rd?
Thoughts.

Charley Casserly would be nice, but I doubt Ralph would hire a real football man as the GM. He'd rather just let the marketing extraordinaire make the key football decisions.
Okay that's one I forgot about. Williams is def better than Bush, he took a lot of crappola for that pick and he was right!
I was also thinkng about Ron Wolf from the Packers but he may be retired.

The wanted list for a new coach is pretty easy, Cower, Gruden, Shanahan, etc. The real question is who will be available for the soon to be open GM position @ One Bills Drive?
I wouldn't mind an ex coach (like the ones mentioned above) as a GM with a OC like Russ GRimm as HC.
WHo on the short list for GM?

MUCH sadder.
Couldn't agree more. 2006 is a bigger FU than 2002 and its not even close!
-
2. Dungy- He'd never come, but would be a smooth transition to success.
Please no Dungy I am JUST SICK OF THE TAMPAX 2 Defense, bend but dont break PU&&y A&&
Good/great defenses ATACK!

I think we let DJ, finish the season...changing coaches mid season wont help anyone.....having said that, who is the top of your coaching wish list for next year and why?
My pick is Mike Shanahan....I think he is the best of the other five coaches....he seems to be a great offensive mind
You forgot the most likely choices:
1) DJ
2) Some INEXPENSIVE coordinator that will be set up to FAIL
He's had the team for 50 years and had 5 good hires in the coaching/FO Saban, Knox, Levy, Polian and Butler. So our odds aren't very good!

He's done. His arm has now been fractured twice and is permanently compromised.
Is that a medical diagnosis or just your opinion?

Notre Dame has done alright for itself. Montana, THEISMANN are hof'ers lots of 1st round busts though such as Brady Quinn and Rick Mirer.
Joe Theismann is NOT in the HOF and thank goodness he is not doing MNF.
-
So Moorman's ahead of JP at this point (OK, just 2-1). Next thing you know Ryan Denney will be the starting TE.
Probably upgrade the TE's on the roster right now, FINE is not the answer.

On SportCenter, this morning, Adam Schefter asserted Derek Anderson is good enough to start at QB for most NFL teams.
Really?
Anyone agree with this?
[Let's take care of some well known responses in advance.
Who's Adam Schefter/Derek Anderson? Just a couple of guys
Who cares what Schefter says? Not me, really. Just thought it was absurd enough to share and discuss. He did have a good year in 2007, but hasn't shown anything before or since, IMO.
ESPN sucks! Fine. Whatever.]
He maybe starting in Cleveland if they go 0 for october.
Dereck anderson >, Oakland, SF, Carolina, Cleveland, Detroit (right now), Denver?, Washington, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Chiefsand maybe St. Louis. So a bunch of teams but not MOST.

Hey gang, I hope you guys don’t mind a Saints fan being here for a bit. I don’t talk trash and I like to be truthful about my team so I wont be an obnoxiously over the top homer.
This is actually the first time I have joined a non division rival’s forum but I decided it would be the best way to learn about a team I don’t know much about (I knew more about them in the day - loved Thurman Thomas and was a huge Bruce Smith fan). I did watch the game against the Pats and I won’t even mention how it ended but I loved what I saw of Edwards and the no huddle scares me with our D. I’m sure you guys can tell me plenty about our DC and I’m looking forward to hearing it. Yes we are all worried about our D here in NOLA but right now our biggest problem is special teams IMO. It was horrible against the Lions and it got better in Philly but still is plenty weak.
Anyway, I look forward to posting with you for the week and maybe beyond if you have me. Ask me anything about the Saints and Ill answer honestly if I know. Thanks. Street
Welcome abaord. I have the Saints @ 20-1 to win it all. So far so good. It'd be okay with me if the saints lose their only game this week, say 37-34.

i found it to be quite interesting from a former players perspective with this team.

enjoy.........
Could the bills hire Jeff as a consultant. Or at the very least Brandon should make that article a must read for dickie and his team.

Football has started and call me pigheaded but I'm excited to see our beloved Bills start the season. Think how it will be as TO runs by Bilacheat on a touchdown pass from Trent. I think we are going to be better than most think. Preseason is preseason. no one gets a trophy for winning preseason games. So in honor of the start of the season go bills. who's with me?
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Here's to hoping you're are right.

Seymour is a free agent after 2009. If he re-signs with the Pats, they got the player and the pick
Al Davis is the biggest moron in the NFL. How do you trade for a player with 1 year left and no contract extension. FOOL!
the bills inner circle is a close 2nd.

Currently? The Buffalo Bills, no explanation needed.
They are climbing up the boards fast! THAT F*&^ING medeling owner reminds me of the Montgomery burns w/o the brains!

He's on the third year of a 4-year, $23 million dollar deal. Listened to the D&C podcast from yesterday. Sal and Leo seem to think Kelsay's a goner for the lack of production, the high cost of his deal, etc.
He seems like a Jauron guy, in that he gets paid a lot to be mediocre, but has a strong work ethic and positive attitude. In other words, perfect for a consistent 7-9 team.
I say NO! The only time he touches a quarterback is during the after game handshake.

It is widely believed that the 49ers won't pay Michael Crabtree a dime more than the Packers gave to defensive lineman B.J. Raji at the ninth overall slot. Meanwhile, we're hearing that his agent, Eugene Parker, is dealing with the Crabtree conundrum on the recruiting trail by blaming the holdout on the player. Parker, we're told, is pointing to the deal he negotiated for defensive end Tyson Jackson at the third overall slot as proof that Parker is willing and able to negotiate a fair deal for a first-round pick.
Is Parker also the rep for Andre Smith? Or does Smith have an Idiot cousin also? I havent heard anything from this situation?

8 guys in coverage + midget, alligator-armed WR's + a QB who doesn't have a big arm + Centers who get destroyed by big Nose Tackles = bad things
THis and god afwul spineless coaching = end of thread !

sal's getting grumpier by the day
Made me think about Airplane!
"and Leon's getting larger"

I'm thinking Brian Orakpo.
Oher, Wood, & everette brown would've been a nice trio. But meh, what do we know.
