Now that would really be the icing on the cake!!!!!!!! We better let em win one so he goes to KC
The Phins will not have the 1st pick in the draft. They played 3 teams that are better than them and lost a close one to Cleveland on the road. they will be 4-12 or so.
I think even though KC won yesterday. They are terrible. They're my pick for Luck.

Welcome back there's tons of room still left on this wagon.
Really you were once a Dolphan? Really? I understand the rivalry isn't what is used to be, but we all remember and still very much dislike that franchise!I live in Davie, FL(their headquarters).I would quit football before I became a fan of them.
The Jaguars would have been more acceptable.

We have been absolutely spoiled here in western NY with top notch radio announcers to cover our teams. Van Miller's voice was unique and was the voice of the Bills for generations. Rick Jeanerette is a staple and one of the most recognizable names in the business. Nobody can call an NHL game like RJ.
Now on to my point, I have watched NFL Network's radio calls these last two weeks for all of the game's highlights and I gotta say, Murph us really starting to be a part of this illustrious group. He worked with Van and really makes me proud hearing his energy calling our highlites!
Anyone else think that he is not only getting better, but starting to sound "unique" himself? He really has captured the excitement of this team in his play-by-play and nobody is giving him credit. He has outshined others so far on the NFL Network.
I love RJ, I never liked Van Miller. I think Murphy is an upgrade over Van.
I'm sure i'm in the minority on the VM though.

BOOM
although pressuring Brady isnt good enough. We need hit him early and often. Pressure wont rattle him, but if Merriman hits him, and Dareus crushes him, we can knock them off their game.
+1
This is how the giants beat them in the superbowl. They gave all teams a blueprint. However it's more difficult than it looks.

this is one of the many reasons I love sirius and my directv dvr. Pause dvr for 5 seconds and get radio feed synched.

Hey, its better than Rexy's foot fetish.

Hate that strategy, never save teams for later since you need to win every week anyway. I like SD over Minnesota on the road.
The problem with Chaargers is Norv Turner can't motivate that team till week 6 when they're 3-3 or 2-4. They get out of the gate like a 3 legged horse.
I also took Cards in my pool.

I know this isn't a huge deal considering both would be our #3 TE going into this season. But I find this Lee Smith signing a little odd.
Going into the draft, a good portion of draft "pundits" listed Zack Pianalto as ranked higher than Lee Smith. In fact, he was one of the top rated undrafted free agents available as many expected him to be drafted. When we signed him, I thought he may be our next starting TE in the near future. But it appears Scott Chandler was always "the guy".
Pianalto had a decent camp/preseason for a rookie with a shortened camp due to the labor issues with free agents. Enough to make the 53-man roster. Or so we thought.
Enter Lee Smith. A 5th Rounder from the Patriots. A guy who apparently looked pretty decent, but couldn't beat out another UDFA TE that the Patriots signed. Maybe they wanted him for the PS and we snatched him; but in the end, he didn't make the final roster.
So to make room for him, we cut Pianalto. A guy we liked enough to make our final roster. Maybe we wanted him for our PS, but the Bucs snatched him up.
I just find it interesting that we gave up a guy who has been working with our offense for a couple months for a guy who couldn't make the Pats roster. Not only that, but he was snatched up to be the Bucs #3 TE almost immediately. Both guys may end up being just bit players. But if Pianalto blows up for the Bucs, we're going to look pretty silly.
So good move? Or are you worried that we may have made the wrong choice? Or perhaps, do you even care?
Is there any chance that they liked Smith better and this is the 1st chance they had to aquire him, aside from spending a 5th round pick or higher on him? Maybe he would have been our 6th round pick or 7th round pick or they didn;t see enough from Pianalto and knew they could find better.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-saints-stinchcomb
He would give us a proven starter from one of the best offenses in football. Keep Pears as depth, or at least have a competition. This fixes both our starting problem and depth problem...Yes he was injured last year, but is supposedly healthy now. I don't think Stinchcomb is our OT savior, but why not TRY to improve. At the very least we would have depth.
If Pears (Wow, we are relying on him?) or Bell get's hurt, we have no one that has shown the slightest bit of ability.
I know this just "another" OT post, but IMO he is a much more viable option than Mckinnie, Flozell, or the other "fat injured" guys..
+1 and he's from the SEC so NIX & Gailey probably know who he is!

Letchworth Park or Ellicottville in October are both pretty awesome.
+1 keep in mind that Florida's trees don't change colors. The views and the color change in October should be beautiful.

Thought they were about 35 million under a 107 million (or there about) cap. We all thought they would be forced to spend a good amount in FA but eh....guess not. Any answers?
-As much as I like Nix it's hard to justify his obsession with signing 2nd and 3rd teir bargain bin free agents. This is due to the fact the Bills are in the NFL. What are they trying to prove by doing this? There are only 32 NFL teams in the world, this is not unicef. You should always try to get the best available.
They have some time to figure out who to give it to. If FitzGibbons has a good/very good year He'll be #1 on the list and take a big chunk of it!

Work blocker blocks draftek. Who are 32 and 64?
SLIM & NONE

I'd have been a little more generous. Dareus would be an A plus in my book as he was the best defensive lineman and maybe even the best player available in the draft in a position of critical need for us. I think we went from an awful front seven to a mediocre front seven with ONE pick. A little luck and Merriman getting better and I think we might actually have a good front seven.
Jasper is the other clear A (given the round) He has good mobility and is huge and has played offensive and defensive line and sounds like a blud collar guy. You aren't expecting much from a last round pick, but this guy could be a surprise.
The other picks fill very real needs for the team.
I'm very happy with this year's draft for the first time in a very long time. What could have made it better? A stud LT, but there wasn't one available.
A TE or a QB(project) would have been a good idea. But this team had too many hole to fill with one draft.

I don't remember any feedback so far as to whether the rookies were getting Bills playbooks. Well it looks like the team veterans are taking it upon themselves to distribute copies. Verification found toward the end of todays Buffalo News story on Kelvin Sheppard.
Good work guys.....
With them so eager to get this rookie ready, Does anyone think they might know what's going on with POZ?

Funny how quick a lot of you are with half wit cracks about Belichick or Brady. You're the same folks I presume who'd be giddy and jumping for joy if either one of them somehow became employed at One Bills Drive.
Y'all sound like bitter immature high school freshmen, envious of the varsity letterman with the new Corvette.
If there's any hate for the beating the Bills have taken at the hands of the Beantown Bullies in recent years, it should be directed at the incompetent staff who've been running the show in Orchard Park since just prior to the arrival of the ink-stain-colored superman costumes the players wear for home games.
As our hometown hero's rivals, I have total distain for B&B and the Pats as well, but I still respect the level of achievement and consistent play for the last decade.
Don't know about you folks, but I'm a little sick of hearing about the 90's glory days and The Comeback Game - blah blah blah. It's getting further away in the rear view mirror everyday and becoming ancient history in my eyes.
The Patriots are where we wish we could be, like it or not.
BTW, ever notice how Belichick always wears vests to hide his man-boobs?
Smart and level headed is no way to go through TBD son.

I would argue it impacts teams that could be categorized in three categories:
1- most severely impacted are teams with new coaching staffs that are looking to install new systems
2- teams with younger rosters or rosters in transition ( I would argue this is where the Bills are)
3- least impacted - veteran teams with intact systems
it's a start but here's my list
1) same --> good luck with the offseason
2) Teams with rookie qb's (carolina, Vikes, & Bengals) It might actually benefit Carolina(long-term) to force Newton to sit and learn for 1 year.
3) Young offensive teams.--> offense is more difficult because timing & reads are tougher to get into rythym.
4) Young defensive teams.--> Just go get the ball (It's more than that but you get the idea)
5) same as 3 above.

Sure then we could trade him to Arizona or Seattle for a 2nd round or better. Maybe we could get him for a 6th round choice?

Did Donte forget to take his meds? Really Jesus? Really?
Again I still see no need for the Twitter, nothing but dumbasses for the most part.

Jimmy welcome back. May I say that you just don't post often enough.
Hey do you twitter, I would love to hear what Jimmy has to say about the rest of his life as we know it.

In the 2nd or 3rd
And NFL expert would say how smart and good the pick was....tired of hearing about the Pats
They're not as perfect as they used to be, the "experts" are begining to see it. I heard something like "where's the pash rush going to come from" and acquiring all those picks are great but you have to use them someday.
Hell, even Peter King bash ed them and he thinks the Pats* are the second coming.
Soon it'll be all over for them!
-
More then likely because our general manager has said more then once that he likes to stay put, idk just throwing that out their... No need to lose picks for next year its gonna take more then one year so lets take it slow.
Thank goodness he isn;t trading up Either!

I feel way more excited this year @ this time vs. last year. Anyone feel the same?
+ still lots more to come. Keep the defense coming Buddy!
-
I am very pleased they have made such a commitment to the defense in this draft.
+! for all defense for the 1st 3 picks!
Now OT & TE please
The ESPN guys said in as gentle a way as possible that Houston is lazy on the field. If that's true, I'm glad they took a guy that puts out max effort and can be a leader instead.
+1
alot of teams that needed a rush end passed on him mare tha once! Including the genious Belicheat.

Seriously, how do you say that the Bills getting the best run stuffing lineman for a team that was the worst rush defense team in the league is a B+, but the Falcons giveaway for a wide receiver was an A-?
I know these are BS, but still you guys, come on.
Plus the Wr has a case of the dropsies. not good @ #6

Agreed, also how is Spiller supposed to even get on the field the way Freddie is playing right now? I guess if he cant beat out the 3rd or 4th best RB in the league he must be a bust.
