  1. I really don't think we can get anything higher than a 3rd rounder for Lynch, but there will be a couple teams looking:

    1) San Diego: LT is going to be out, and Sproles is not an every down back. If LT does hit the market, he still sniffs the endzone like no other, and would be a great edition to the Bills/Jackson. He had 12 TDs this year with limited playing time (he missed several games and was pulled when they were ahead in the 3rd quarter). He's be like a Marcus Allen player for us. Plus, his leadership skills are second to none.

    2) St. Louis: They cannot let Steven Jackson get pounded like he does every game. Lynch would be a perfect second option for them, considering the league is moving towards that direction.

    3) Detroit: I don't think they have that much faith in Kevin Smith after this year. Lynch would be a terror given that all of the home games would be domed.

    4) NE: They're always looking and say what you will put Malroney is too hot/cold for the NE brass, and Sammy Morris/Faulk are too old.

    5) Philly: Westbrook may not be back and McCoy has some fundamental issues. Lynch would the hard-nosed RB they've been lacking for years. They need to run the ball better, and if they do, DeSean/Maclin/Avant/Celek will be one of the best tandems in the league for many years.

There are a few more, but I think these are real possibilities.

I would think Redskins would be high on that list as well. Portis looks finished and Shanny collects RB's like Chucky collects QBs.

I think a 4th would be most we could get.

  2. I always liked Dwight Adams as well. I would not mind if they brought him back in some capacity. He knows football. It is too bad TD got rid of him.

There are not enough footbal guys in the building. There HAS TO BE room for ADAMS in some capacity.

    Make it happen BUDDY!

  3. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...-trade-request/

I know some on the board expressed interest in him in other threads.

    Some thoughts:

He probably wouldn't cost more than a 3rd, as opposed to other promising young back-ups, such as Dennis Dixon or Kevin Kolb, since Baltimore already has a viable #2 QB on their roster and has publicly made himself available.

I haven't seen any of his games myself, but people have been impressed with his play.

Drew Brees has quieted a lot of concern about QBs that are only 6'.

    Thoughts?

Don't we have an extra 6th round pick from Philly, I'd make the trade with that pick. Bring him in and let him, brohm and any drafted QB fight it out ... you know a real competition.

Also, anyone know what his contract status is?

I asked Billick what he thought about him in a chat. He never responded

  4. i guess the bigger question is would you rather have oher than maybin? As it stands right now, the answer is easy. YES!

The above is correct : Oher, Wood & Everette in the 2nd round worked for me.

Also Peters is a FAT, LAZY, UNMOTIVATED (now that he got his paycheck) no heart for the game or desire to get after it!

he will never be a leader and if the Eagles go anywhere it will not be because of him.

Wood = HEART, PASSION for the game and a never ending motor with atheticism. And is better for the cap than 11 mill per. This is someone one you can build the team/line around, especially if he gets moved to C.

  5. Shanahan: Hi Mr. Wilson I see that you are in need of services I can provide.

RW: That is correct, I need a new HC w experience that would like to join my "Inner Cirlce". We can over you some say on the draft and FA acquistions.

    I can offer you a 5yr $15 million deal.

    Shanahan: click(hangsup the phone)

Rw Hello, hello. I think we got disconnected. Tells Brandon to get him back on the phone.

  6. It's clear just from this message board that people support many different coaching/GM options. Anything short of Cowher or Gruden will bring out the naysayers. I for one hope that everyone gets on board with this next hire and doesn't b*tch about it before any games are played. We really need some positive energy in this town....fans, players, coaches, management, etc...

I'm sure we can all agree who ever the next hire is, he will be better than DJ

  7. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=cr-c...o&type=lgns

As far as anyone knows, it's the first time we've seen that type of guerilla-style advertising campaign in an NFL end zone. And if the league has its way, it will be the last, too. The "Captain Morgan" was effectively banned this week after the league learned of a wider campaign meant to get players to repeatedly strike the pose during NFL games.

"A company can't pay a player to somehow promote it's product on the field," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told Yahoo! Sports this week. "Every league has the same rule. … It's come up before, companies trying to use our games and then players for ambush marketing purposes."

NO FUN LEAGUE strikes again, IF Capt morgan became the official rum of the NFL this would change... GREEDY F'ers

Also best Capt Morgan drink is the Cable Car:

    1/2 oz Orange Curacao liqueur

1 oz Captain Morgan® Original spiced rum

    1/2 oz lime juice

1/2 oz sweet and sour mix

Combine everything in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Or Capt and Ginger ale is awesome as well.

    = Brett Favre to Lewis

Rule #1. When something awesome is happening, Increase your voice level to that of a SCREAM .

Rule # 2. See # 1 because this actually works!

He also does NCAA BB Tourney, I love watching his games.

  9. So we all know that Trent is probably not the QB of the future. Maybe he stays in Buffalo as a backup or maybe he leaves- whatever. . . . What would you think about trading for Brady Quinn with a 4th round pick. The upside is that you know what you would be getting- A QB that has potential but certainy one that needs work. Now, lets also assume that Ralph fires Jauron and hires somone like Gruden (who can develop a QB). Maybe then could it be a good idea to consider a trade like this? I have to think that Quinn, Gruden and an Oline that has played together for a season would certainly be better than the offensive offense that we have now.

My fear is that we draft a QB who is either a 1st round bust or another 3rd disapointment like Edwards was. If we had smart people in our front office, then I would say draft a 1st rounder, but I don't think the Bills can risk spending millions on a bust.

    What do you think. . . .

I think the asking price will be a 2nd and a 7th or something close to that. and that would be too much for a team with this many needs, A 4th would be awesome but it wont happen.

  10. And we can go down the list why his actions forced GM John Butler and AJ Smith and entire scouting crew to leave to San Diego....

Gee what qualifications do you think Ralph's daughter had? What do you think Polian and the like felt about having to hear her opinion?

Last decade San Diego and Colts have been model franchises...Ralph's Bills have simply returned to what they were prior to the Polian era

The winning era provided by Polian/Butler was the exception not the rule for Ralph's teams...

And this old man is in the HOF ??

And if he is in the HOF because he sticks up for small franchises and no franchise relocations...they why doesnt he unveil his plan to this small market how he has secured the Bills to stay in this area for a long time???

    POST of the YEAR!

with polian & butler the team is 105-55 about a win rate of 65%

with out them about 40-45% Bottom feeders!

    Please restructure the INNER_CIRCLE

  11. We should also promote Marcus Freeman, retain Ashton Youboty and bring in Troy Smith. Then we can go undefeated in the Big 10 and lose national championships to the SEC.

Troy Smith could be interesting. He is not a Cali kid and has a few years under his belt.

Maybe Ted Ginn should see what it would take to trade Donte to the Dolphins.

  12. Jauron will be the HC next year also!

    theres a 75% chance...

Firing Jauron would cost Ralph $5M in 2010 PLUS the cost of the new coach and staff lets say $6-7M. $12M bucks to fire Jauron... NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!

However, you may see one of the top coaches available come to the bills for 2011...

    BE PREPARED!

Its more like 50-50, though there's only a 10% chance of that!

  13. Why trade for a player who will be available after the season, especially when his presence won't help the team (read: the offense and ST's)?

I was unaware he will be a FA, if that's the case the asking price should be much lower. we could still make the trade but it would depend upon a deal w Johnson. This would be cheaper to do now than if he became a FA.

  14. I think the trade deadline is over so they would both have to pass through waivers for the trade to go through.

They have until 10/20 @ midnight. Sure hope the fax machine is turned on and working properly. I heard the FO had issues in the past with this newfangled type of office machinery.
