  1. WOW! That's impressive!
  2. Maybe I am crazy, and yes I do think T.O. can be a HUGE problem, but I'm not sure he is the reason his teams imploded. San Fran, like us, just hasn't been good for a long time. Missed draft picks and wasted talent, no real FA signings has made them awful. Even without T.O. Philly seems to be a mess. They bench McNabb for no reason, never put any other WR's on their roster after T.O. as well. McNabb doesn't seem to enjoy it there even after T.O. is gone. And Dallas...well what can I say. Jerry Jones is a joke. It wasn't just T.O. that he brought in, but Jones and Johnson too. I don't think you can solely place the blame on Owens for the struggles of the teams he has left. He hasn't helped, but it doesn't lay on his shoulders alone
  3. Arizona would be a perfect fit for him
  4. what about Cornelius Ingram?
  5. Had he not gotten hurt, was he viewed better than Pettigrew. I have a vague recollection of him being listed as the best TE before the college season started. (I wish Gresham came out, he would be who we need). THis is from Buffalo Insider on how his Pro Day went: Wisconsin TE Travis Beckum, who is returning from a broken left fibula, got his first chance to work out in front of scouts and did nothing but impress. He turned in a 40 time of 4.61 and posted an impressive 38.5-inch vertical and a 4.10 short shuttle. Beckum says he is still not 100 percent healthy, but he proved he has the athletic ability to create mismatches in the pass game.
  6. I can't make up my mind about T.O. I most certainly think this won't happen, but if it did, I really wouldn't care all that much about the antics. This team has been so stale for a long time This would drum up some excitement, national media attention, etc. It would spice things up a bit. If he played well, Buffalo would embrace him and it could save his career. Also, more importantly, even though he has had some drops, he is a very good WR, and it would FINALLY, take the pressure off of Lee.I think Lee would have a HUGE year. You would have to account for both of them all the time. That would free up Josh, Roscoe, Johnson and Hardy too. He could hurt our team in many ways, but I've been so sick of how things have turned out recently that I don't care anymore
  7. per rotoworld. another one bites te dust
  8. I just heard Everette Brown on ESPN radio in NYC. I have to say I was impressed. He came off as an intelligent guy, who said at one point that he feels he has the physical tools to make it in the NFL, but it's the mental side, the X's and O's that he feels he is ahead of other players. He studies the game and he said talking to teams they feel he could play 3-4 or 4-3 LB as well as 4-3 end. His size worries me a bit, but I think all of the DE's in this draft are a question mark. Orakpo, Brown, and Maybin all have great potential, but all have question marks. There really is no pick in most drafts that doesn't have the potential to bust. If we pick any one of those guys I would be happy. If they bust, that's just what happens, but at least they will be making a move to address DE and a top talent at that
  9. It's funny to me that fans like us on message boards actually have enough influence on certain media outlets now that they actually report this ish as valid rumor. I remember reading that Shaun Rogers and Quinn were going to Denver for Cutler. And that Edwards was going to the Giants for Kiwanuka. Then I heard on Max Kellerman that it was all because of fan websites, but it was reported in Cleveland nonetheless due to the posters claim on "inside" knowledge. I only really believe rumors here from TG and the g man
  10. HA, that's what I'm talking about
  11. I thought this latest post from Rotoworld was hilarious! It states that due to an internet rumor, T.O. was spotted at the Nashville airport. True or not, it made me think that the Titans fans must have a crazy fanbase just like our own that jokes about seeing athletes at the airport, or on the plane with them and so on.: According to an internet rumor, free agent Terrell Owens was spotted at the Nashville airport early Friday. T.O. and agent Drew Rosenhaus were allegedly there at 7AM. Though the Nashville Tennessean has reported otherwise, ESPN's Chris Mortensen has hinted the Titans are one of the few teams that might consider pursuing Owens.
  12. On ESPN Buffalo was listed as a team tat T.O. is not welcome, so that's that
  13. Thanks for the response. If that's the case, does Cato June fit the bill (no pun intended), and if so, do you think he'd be any good?
  14. We obviously have a need at SAM, but the Bills keep bringing in WILLS. WHy? We have Kawika. Just doesn't make sense to me
  15. Thanks San Jose. Appreciated
  16. I wanted to see how much money we would have had left to sign other FA's draft picks and re-sign our players. People were complaining because Coles got a contract that they felt the Bengals overpaid for, so I wanted to see if we actually did overpay whether that would have put us in a bad position financially or whether it would have been monetarily feasible
  17. Yea, but I'm pretty bad at the whole "cash to cap" thing. I thought someone smarter than me would bail me out on this one
  18. I'm not sure what teh actual cap numbers are, but if we signed Brown and Coles to the contracts they received, how much would we have left under the cap?
  19. I think he is referring to comments made by Bengals fans on the comment section of the PFT note, not us Bills fans
  20. A number #2 Wr is a NEED on this team. I hope this Bengals wildly overpaid for him, if they didn't I'm gonna be pretty pissed
  21. I don't even think 500,000 will get a 2 bedroom in NYC
  22. I like him, but I hope this doesn't stop us from trying to trade for Waters or sign Simmons
  23. Wasn't Coles rumored to have been working on a deal with Cincy? I don't know why people keep saying that we are the only ones who have offered him anything
  24. The thing is, I for one, dont mind over paying a little to get him. We have so much money and I don't think we are gonna spend all that much of it. If it means getting someone we want and need, I say give him a little extra if that's what it takes. Not too much, however
  25. The difference between us and the Bills is that we made an offer and there was nothing else from the other side. For the Bengals, there is an actual negotiation going on, which means a willingness on both sides to get something done. We can't say that for Buffalo
