11/21 Colts at Bills, Postgame Postmortem Thread
HalftimeAdjustment replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Obviously there was still football to be played after we were down 14-0. But I believe the team began coming mentally unglued pretty quickly in this game and their last chance to really get back in it was fumbled away by McKenzie in Q2. -

I am all for more RB runs, but it cannot be overlooked that we were down 24-7 by halftime. Lots of teams get unbalanced in that situation. We really lost this game in the first quarter. -

What about Edmunds and Feliciano? We are all focused on the 2 starters amout due to Covid, but we are also out 2 due to regular football injuries. -

Why? What is it that suggests we are going to be competitive with teams that have a winning record? -

I wasn't looking for miracles, just some better thrown balls that don't all look like rockets bouncing out of Dawson Knox's wet gloves. -

So we are playing bad again. Some weeks we do play better than this so let's say we are 6-4 after today (putting the Patriots in the division lead). Do we end up 10-7 or 9-8??? I still don't see us going under .500 but I also don't see us any better than a wild card. -

No we are not pretending. They mentally gave up when it hit 24-7. -

We took their secret weapon, Bobby Hart. Unfortunately he is inactive. -

I see 41-14 or 41-17 in the future. -

Josh is still young. This year we are worse on the OL and today we are missing Star and Tremaine on D. Maybe next year if we can add a couple players. Unfortunately Poyer and Hyde are not getting younger. -

I cannot believe they let him return it. -

Enough of Mckenzie as a returner. He is not reliable. -

With Star and Tremaine out, we basically cannot stop their short yardage runs up the middle. Not looking good today. -
I am pretty sure the NFL is not going to dig into the possibility of widespread fake cards. And if the players with fake cards do not subsequently get COVID-19, then the NFL will easily be able to sweep it under the rug as unsubstantiated rumors. Aftere all there is no real way for the public to know whether 0, 1, 2, 10, 50, or 100 players faked cards.
-
Well, that running list of issues still doesn't guarantee he actually obtained fake cards. It is not out of the question he attempted to obtain a fake card, or actually obtained a fake card, then later got vaccinated and got a real card. Or he could have 17 fake cards. Or he could have been trying to fake the card, gotten frustrated, gotten vaccinated, then burned the real card and replaced it with a fake. After reading that mess, I would not rule anything out.

Star Lotulelei OUT with COVID - Could Miss Next Week Too
HalftimeAdjustment replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope Star does not suffer any long-term effects (for example lung damage, permanent loss of smell, cognitive difficulty). Additionally, I hope he doesn't have short-term effects which in NFL terms would severely hinder his season... a doctor would probably call having fatigue and low energy that gets better after 1-2 months a short-term effect, but that's plenty bad enough to tank the rest of the year for an NFL player. -
I don't find the sourcing on this story to be very compelling. I mean... Antonio Brown is not someone I want to defend. However all we have is the word of a guy who claims Brown owes him money. Let this be investigated before any punishments are considered. Players who fake vaccination evidence should face severe discipline.

The best outcome for Chiefs-Raiders would probably be a tie.
