  1. That was almost a "lookout" block. Nice move with the illegal forward lateral.
  2. 12 games, 64.2% comp pct, 3,018 yds (in 12 games), 18 TD/10 INT. Those are respectable, not great, numbers in 2014. The team finished 9-7, the first winning record in 10 years. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Orton#Buffalo_Bills_records
  3. It gets tough for the first few after Allen because: 1) Some of these guys had careers outside Buffalo (e.g. Fitz, Bledsoe, Anderson) 2) A few of them had one good season in Buffalo but then went bad (Bledsoe, Fitz, Flutie, even Tyrod) 3) Others flashed at times but could not perform consistently And then there are some that were just plain bad. My list: Allen ... Bledsoe (his good year was very good, then faded hard) Flutie (misused, good in 98/99, also faded hard in 2000, but was electric before then) Fitz (maybe the same average result as an average QB but has a high variability that gives hope. Did bad after contract). Taylor (Better results for the team but faded during his time in Buff) Orton (Gave us some good games but ultimately nothing special) Beyond that it is a mess. Next tier - guys who showed promise but failed: Rob Johnson (He "flashed" at times but his sack rate was just unacceptable by any measure) Trent Edwards (Started out good then went bad, whether is was a concussion or bad coaching who knows) Next tier: Guys who were not good. Ranking is very hard. JP Losman EJ Manuel Kelly Holcomb Alex Van Pelt Todd Collins The rest... bad and short lived: Matt Barkley (had one good game) Thad Lewis Derek Anderson (not good here but had legit career) Jeff Tuel Brian Brohm Nathan Peterman (the worst) No rating: Matt Cassel (started only on a technicality, much better career than others listed, did less harm than Peterman)
  4. They had Hyde in on offense for the kneeldowns. Guess he is the "hands" guy for a bad snap, but Josh tossed him the ball at the end. Huge win.
  5. It cannot get cancelled. It can be stopped and resumed.
  6. Our offense lost some momentum with that delay.
  7. Our D is for real. Not just good against backups.
  8. Are they going to delay this until Chris Jones is healthy?

  10. The radar does not look good. It looks like there could be some play followed by an even longer delay.
  11. Josh rocking the 50% completion percentage and 15 YPA.
  12. That was a misfire on 3rd down by Josh.
  13. Josh may be "only" 4/8 but he is throwing some good balls. 2 bad RB drops.
  14. Not if they are named Jerry Hughes.
  15. I enjoyed how Josh cradled the ball and protected it like his baby.
  16. Can we agree to change from "Bease" chants to golf claps?
  17. Better go for a straight line dash... Can you beat his 4.4 shuttle or 6.96 3-cone? He's on par with some of our most agile guys.
  18. I thought everybody who scores a TD gets a game ball? Trubisky?
  19. Seems like the year of rest was good for Star. And good for him staying in shape.
  20. Well, it won't go down in the stats as a fumble anyhow...
