Didn't he have three in one game too? That would be 1 in 34 games then.

Who starts in Merriman's place? Batten? I'd imagine that whoever it is won't have as much of an impact but am interested to see how they do behind that D-Line.

So this guy said in response to NoSaint saying unless the substance was banned by the NFL but legal in the United States. So does US Customs have a list of the substances banned by the NFL to check against on the off chance that an NFL player comes through the border? Of course not. Most plausible scenario without someone flat-out making up/exaggerating a story is that someone on the border that night took note of one of the substances that he had and checked it against the NFL banned list after the fact and saw it on there.

So JW, are you upset that the source gave the story to Moran and not you?

So...he says he has a source...clearly the source is not from the Bills organization because if it was they would give the story to someone else...that basically means his source is from United States Customs. How kindly would they take to a "source" leaking information to the "press"?

One other thing - if it is true but unable to be substantiated it will make him look bad. If it was something minor he had and it's a non-issue, especially if he was locked out at the time anyway, and it becomes a non-story remember the headline said "Merriman busted for steroids". Just seems like a poor choice of words.

Cincy will be horrible too. There are going to throw Dalton out there and let him learn on the fly. Me thinks the results won't be pretty. The sad part would be if they actually did get the #1 pick and then threw Dalton in the scrap heap in favor of Luck.

Yeah, that seems like it was pulled out of thin air...never a problem in 7 years that I recall...maybe he wanted out now because he wasn't involved as much in Gailey's offense as he would have liked but to call him difficult to deal with is a stretch.

You do realize this was the second half of a pre-season game played two weeks after a 4 month long lockout against the Jacksonville Jaguars right? I'm going to wait a few weeks before I pass judgment. Maybe even *gasp* wait and see if he gets some time against NFL first stringers.

Do we even bother to mention that Nelson, Jones and Parrish were also injured for the last two games and Fitzpatrick was even injured for the last one? Doesn't fit your argument? Ok, nevermind.

Actually this is what Buddy Nix has said he was going to do since day 1 so yes, really.

Watch any of Chan's press conferences. He gushes over Jones, Nelson, and Naaman every chance he gets. He loves those guys. He loves Easley too. I guarantee he wants to carry all four of those guys.

16 catches, 199 yards, 1 TD...including the last game with Brohm (out of the league currently) starting. Not a world beater in those games but not that bad either. Not sure how good that point is.

Exactly...do people really think despite producing twice as much as Lee pretty much all year that defenses didn't start paying more attention to Stevie. Football is not that simple. If it was then Reed, Peerless, etc. would have had seasons as productive as Stevie had last year.

This and the fact that they apparently weren't interested in moving him a few days ago and now they are...a few teams might think he's the final piece and are willing to give something up for him. We do know there is more than one team after him.

I am torn on this...I love our young WRs (as the brass obviously does) but I'm not sure if I'm ready to let them fly on their own. Still Roscoe only has a year's less experience than Evans and Stevie is entering his 4th year so those guys aren't exactly rookies.
