I'm no politician that's for sure & i'm not real sure of how this will be handled today & don't think a WW would be good for anyone but if NATO and those in it are for freedom and a countries sovereignty they need to band together & do something but i don't have any faith in our leaders !!

I do feel that if this same thing would have happened 100 years ago Americans then would have went in & fought with Ukraine .

The thing i don't understand is that the US gov't went into Afghanistan and put all kinds of money in the back door to fight Russia & helped to run the Russians out yet the US gov't now sits on the side line & do nothing which speaks volumes for freedom around the world !!

You must understand freedom...no one tells me to wear a mask to help save fellow citizens, but seat belts are ok. GOT IT! 😁

I completely agree. They are at the point where Brandon is going to have to be willing to sacrifice depth for star power. Having AJ Klein and Jon Feliciano and Cord Ford and even Tyler Matakevich (who is genuinely a really good STer) coming in at $16m on your cap when none of them start on offense or defense is a luxury that having paid a Quarterback you have to learn to live without. Or else you end up with lots of guys but not many guys

Tyler is a starter...special teams are important. May I remind you...Music City Debacle.

  3. Leaders, Trudeau in this case, who apologize  on behalf of me and our country for  sins of years ago. I did not committ them, they were not sins at the time, (example...internment of some Japanese after Pearl Harbour)  and now give away my tax money by the billions to compensate another generation entirely.

My only hope is that someone will apologize to my grandkids for all the tax money wasted apologizing for my ancestors.

    Thanks Irv.

Prior to Russia's attack U.S. representatives shared intelligence on Russia with China in an effort to get them on-board to discourage Putin from taking miliary action against Ukraine.  They declined and immediately forwarded the intelligence information on to Russia.  That's all you need to know about where China stands.

Unlike Russia, China has a lot of supporters and advocates among America's elites and corporations through what they call "elite capture", infiltrating US academic and research institutions, and the cultivation of lucrative business and personal relationships with US entities and individuals that keep the pro-China propaganda flowing while domestically discouraging criticism of Xi and the CCP.  Hollywood for example, won't even dare to put out a film or TV series that might anger or insult the Chinese leadership.  They're all bought off to betray America in the service of China.

Russia is basically a top-tier 3rd world economy with nuclear weapons supported by an autocratic ruling class.  In a conventional war it's likely the U.S. military could wipe them out in a matter of weeks.  China is a bigger threat than Russia. But its a threat of our own making in a trade off for cheap consumer goods and a market for US debt instruments.  A deal with the Devil that surprisingly (I gest because its not a surprise) went bad.  Advanced under the faulty theory of constructive engagement.  Right now they sit back and patiently watch for the time where opportunity to act presents itself.  We can trust China as far as you can throw an Elephant.

    Excellent summary.

I believe the west will have to step in the way of Putin unless his own supporters do it first. Before stepping in we must understand China's reactive position. Does the relationship of Putin and the CCP run deeper and is there an underlying plan for communists to own the globe, as we all suspected in the 50s, 60s.

  5. It is time to get real close to China. We know what Russia and Putin are. We need China to be actually neutral or leaning to the west.

IMHO, a pre emotive strike will be required, by year end. Moldova, Romania,  Poland. Where is the line? Does the west value freedom, or only our freedom?

    1938 is here folks, again.

I follow plenty of people on both sides.. and many of them are open to discussing issues Western media won’t touch.

Aaron Mate, Jimmy Dore, Maajid Nawaz and Krystal Ball/Saager Enjati are all willing to discuss how we are being fed a narrative and America/NATO are partly responsible for leading Ukraine down a road that inevitably led here.. All the while with the West never having any intention of protecting them, as we see.

Thanks, the first 2 I know of. While they have points if view, much seems to be surmised. I worked for more than 35 years in highly politized situations, and always believed, all the rhetoric and discussion on cause, was just that, rhetoric. That what these guys and gals provide.

But it us great thoughts and insight,

Its fairly easy when you spend some time learning about situations from independent sources/journalists while not gargling the approved narrative du jour

Ah, always concerning that this kind of detail from independent sources is less independent than it appears. You should reveal these sources to add cred.

Hell, at one point Buffalo Head and the Proud Boys were considered independent sources.

Independent does not equate to honest or reliable. Rhino was independent.

    Stephen Bandera.

“Stepan Andriyovych Bandera was a Ukrainian politician and theorist of the militant wing of the far-right Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and a leader and ideologist of Ukrainian ultranationalists known for his involvement in terrorist activities”

My goodness, you are an expert suddenly in Ukraine, Russian politics.

    Where dies that come from?

  9. I want to thank BB1998 for using the word Mayfield In the title.

Too many people refer to this undeserving guy by just his first name, even heard it Nationally on sports shows.

Nothing he has done deserves the right for him to get the same treatment as guys like Kobe, The Mick, Jimbo, Bruuuuce, LeBron etc.

One day the national media may refer to Josh and have the football world know there is only ONE Josh.

    Thanks BB1998

Not to be ultra-contrarian, but keeping Zelenskyy alive is exactly what keeps this bloody war ongoing.

We can root for Ukraine, and should absolutely support them with weapons - because they want to fight - but the more they want to fight, the bloodier this gets… *assuming the West doesn’t get directly involved.

I am in no way suggesting assassination is a good thing.  Zelenskyy is inspiring and embodies the Ukrainian spirit, but from a Russian perspective - the war only gets bloodier with him continuing

You are correct in saying the more he fights the worse it gets, so...why not just have Moldova, Lithuania, Estonia,  Finland, Slovenia, Czech etc give up now. Let's throw in Taiwan for China.

    Putin is the issue.

To stop blood shed stop fighting for freedom. Heck, you got Americans, Canadian and Brits fighting for freedom over a flippin mask.

Biden did go to China for help.   He, for some reason, gave them our intelligence to try to convince them to talk Russia off the ledge.

They ignored him and then gave our intelligence to Russia.

China is not, and will not, be on our side.

They are our true enemy.   Russia has European aspirations dominance.  China has global aspirations of dominance.

At least you have coherent thoughts, unlike some.

Never heard of Biden and China dialoque. Face to face would be better.

We will know if your theory is correct when Ukraine is settled, is Taiwan next.

Playing both sides of the fence again

It us a legit question. They had a chance of perhaps influencing the events of 30 days later, I don't live in a political support program like you, lots of blame to go around.

Should we bend the knee to China?

Most people with a backbone would say no but I guess you differ.

No bending a knee, but influence, opening up communication. When trump did it many people laughed. Just saying, close to you friends, closer to your enemies.
