If 10% of sales were in Canada, 10% of vehicles by dollar must be built in Canada. Then Nafta which gave Mexico the advantage as quotas disappeared because vehicles were becoming too costly as a result of the hold on companies by unions in US and Canada. Wages in Mexico dropped prices and increased big 3 profits. Other industries followed. Canada lost more jobs proportionate to US. Then trump signed Nafta #2 USMCA, now he violates it.
