  1. dude, I never said he was injure prone. But he likes to run and he is just now learning how to slide. To think he will be able to play every down of every game...well, I think whe ever the backup is, they will see a play or two this year.
  2. I know that may sound like a stupid question, and I know that we are suppose to cut him, however I have not seen the official release notice yet. Other teams seem to be cutting people left and right today...why aren't we? I know this is the first day you can cut someone, so perhaps it will not be today. But since that seems to be what the Bills want to do, I am kinda surprised they have not done it yet.....or did I miss it? By the way, I think Drew has made a VERY bad decision in this case. No one is going to pay him 6 million even if he finds another starting job. And the way JP runs around, I am sure Drew would have seen the field at some point this year. He seemed to really love playing here in Buffalo, and I am sure we would have paid him a million or 2 to stay. I know he wants to be a starter, and perhaps that is what is driving his decision, but sometimes pride can drive you in the wrong direction.
  3. The Cards will make whatever deal suits their team best. If trading him to the Bears for a 2nd rounder helps them more than trading him to the Bills for TH, so be it. However, it is up to the Cards what deal really takes place, where LJ "wants" to play is not important.
  4. Of course the first time he saw Ben, he had no idea what to do with him.
  5. Good post...I concur. Boys and girls, the man just lost his job to a dude that has not proven jack sh**. A 12 year vet who ranks high in a number of stat categories is out of a job. A man who I REALLY believe wanted nothing more than to bring a championship to the city of Buffalo, now will no longer have that chance. And given all that, he still went out with more class than most of us would have given the same situation. In fact, given that we all know (or should know), that not every lost we suffered over the last 3 years was Drew's fault, I am surprised he was able to hold his mouth in check so well. Cut him some slack, wish him well and get off his back. We have a new future and direction to look forward to, I hope it's a good one. For MM and TD's sake.....it better be!!
  6. I've said this before, and I'll say it again....NO nationally televised game for the Bills, unless that game is being played at the Ralph. It has been a long time and the NFL schedule makers know it. Give us a home game on national TV!!! By the way, when exactly was the last Monday night game in Buffalo?
  7. So is Belichick the brains behind the Pats, or is it the OC and DC that he will be losing in about 12 hours? I may not know the answer to this question by the end of the day, but I will know by the end of next season!
  8. I want a kicker, someone who can make a difference in the game. Someone who can kick the ball in the endzone on kickoffs a few times. Someone who can make a FG from 40+ yards more than miss them. I think you know who I am talking about.
  9. I think I can say that for most areas of the country. Now, if Gallo pointed that out then what he said is fine, however, if he just decided to pick on Buffalo...well that's something else.
  10. And don't forget is blocking...or lack there of...he hates to pick up the blitz, something teams do to us every chance they get!!
  11. I would take a second rounder from most teams for TH, however if the Phins want him I would only take a 1st rounder......this year's first round pick!!
  12. By 3rd option, I assume you mean a number 3 WR. I REALLY hope we can find a good one, perhaps a FA. Anyone have an idea regarding what WR FA are out there. And yes, I want Reed goine
  13. That's fine, but for me I could care less who wins the Super Bowl unless it is the Bills
  14. I concur. And by the way, when I say this I do not mean to take away from anything the Steelers did today, but the fact is we played a very bad game. In fact, had the Steelers not even gotten off the bus, I think we still lose that game!
  15. The Steelers are a good team, a very good team but it would have been nice if we had actually played even an average game....we played like crap. I watched the Steelers (starters), get into a cat fight with the mighty NY Giants a few weeks ago, and even though the Steelers won the game, you could tell that if you play a good game (not even a great one, just good), you can take this team down. You can credit some of our poor play to the Steelers, but the vast majority of it was our own doing. Bad passes by Drew, dropped balls by Moulds, getting flagged at the worst time..(time and time again), piss-poor play calling, turnovers deep in our side of the field, short punts, (do I even need to mention our FG Kicker?)....and lets not forget some really questionable play calling. You know, like 3rd and 1 in the 4th from about the 50 and instead of running it right up the middle we pitch it back about 7 yards to WM....of course the pitch went a bit further back then 7 yards. The Steelers have their 18th string defense in there and we don't run right up the gut for a yard!!! Do you know that today we got beat by a team that (especially in the 2nd half), put a roster on the field that was worse than the starting rosters of the Browns or the 49ners??? WE did not get beat today because the Steelers are a great team (altough as I said, they are a very good team), we got beat cause we played like sh**. THe Browns, 49ners, Phins, Raiders, Bears and many college teams would have also kicked our a** today the way we played. Looking back on it, even if we had won, I do not think we would have made it to the playoffs, and yes I know the Jets lost. However I saw the end of the Jets game and they tried a really long FG in OT which I believe they would not have tried had they really needed the game at that point. I think they would have punted and pinned the Rams deep, and at that point who knows what would have happen. So at least I will not be going to bed tonite thinking that the Steelers knocked us out of the playoffs. Lastly, we had a very good year, and won more games than most people thought we would. Our first year coach did a great job...better than our last coach for sure. Had we been eliminated from the playoffs a few weeks ago, but still ended the season with a 9-7 record, I think most people would have been pretty pleased with our season given it was the first one under MM. If we can continue to improve, and come out next year and start the season with wins a opposed to losses, we will be just fine. There, I feel better now. Congrats Steelers, good luck in the playoffs. And congrats Bills on a nice season, and great late season run.
  16. We played like crap and your team won, end of story. But thanks for the classy post just the same. I really wonder if you would have come back had the Steelers lost. Based on this class-less post I think we all know the answer to that.
  17. I won't be there until Saturday afternoon. I hope there are still some left, I would like to take a few back to So. Cal
  18. Do you know if we can buy this shirt at the Ralph on Sunday?
  19. When I fly in for the games, always stay downtown (staying at the Comfort Suites this time). I can tell you that over the last few years, most teams have stayed at either the Adams Mark or the Hyatt, (I have had the joy of staying in the same hotel with many visting teams over the last few years). I do not know where the Steelers are staying, but if I had to guess...I would say the Hyatt
  20. Actually, I think the Seahawks have qualified for the playoffs, its just a question of whether they will go in as division champs or wild card. At least I think this is the case.
  21. LMAO........This is why I try not to read post at work, I laughed so hard I cried when I read this, and peope were asking me if I was all right!! I'm not sure praying to God for something like this is OK, but just in case it is.....AMEN Brother!!! And just in case it's not.......Please God, do not hold this theard against the Bills....AMEN
  22. Question.......if the Jets lose and the Denver wins, assuming we win as well, that would make all 3 teams 10-6.....who gets in and in what spot
  23. Thank you, now I can sleep with a smile on my face......however, given what I have been drinking. perhaps I would have been smiling anyway!!!!!!!!!!!
