You don't really think the Bills would have won more games had Everett not been injured do you?

I am surprised no one jumped on the Bengals as being better than the Bills. Palmer is a great QB, & they have good receivers but that is a team in disarray.

Bentley signed a Huge contract with the Browns and never played a down. They were probably going to have to pay him a lot of $$ for the next year if they didn't cut him.

Up to this point I would say Jauron, but I was not happy with his work last year. I think a head coach is ultimately responsible for the way his assistants coach, & Fairchild SUCKED.

Bledsoe was cut because he refused to take a back up role- I can't blame him. That is also the reason he was cut in Dallas.

That is a good question. I think they could both turn out to be good or they could both suck.

They were also given a #1 pick in that trade. 1-1=0 therefore it cost them a 2 & 5 over & above their pick.

If he throws 30 ints & 0 TD's his first three games, I will not be happy. All the Trent lovers say how accurate he is. I have just watched the Redskins game & Browns game again on NFL Network. In the Redskins game Trent looked the way JP has been described, UNDERTHROWING & OVERTHROWING his receivers all game long. The only drive he looked good on was the last drive of the game. The weather was BAD in Cleveland. Anderson managed to make some NICE throws in the same conditions Trent played in, including a VERY NICE throw for a TD. I don't remember seeing ONE good pass from Trent the entire game.The coach of the Browns said although it was windy & snowing it wasn't that cold. If Trent is to be the Bills QB, he better MAN UP & lose the gloves.

Yes you're a hater & I still haven't seen a post that HOPED Trent would fail.

MANY of those tickets sold to ZIP codes outside of Buffalo, are sold to Buffalo Bills fans who no longer live in Buffalo.

I have seen some highlights of jags games this offseason. I saw a number of plays Stroud looked good & as you say if the ankle holds up he should only be better this year.

There have been NUMEROUS THREADS & POSTS about JP & Trent since the board crashed. Show me ONE POST that the poster said he HOPED Trent would fail among all of those posts. You should be able to find one if you are correct. ALL QB's have flaws, but the HATERS & YES YOU ARE A HATER, refuse to acknowledge any of the NUMEROUS road blocks that were put in place on JP's road to success. It is IMPOSSIBLE to read ANY of your posts pertaining to Trent & JP objectively, because there is NOTHING objective in them.

Stats are just numbers & you can arrange those numbers to say ANYTHING you like, so yeah stats sometimes lie, & sometimes they don't tell the entire story.

I agree. Everyone says JP called himself out before the Jacksonville game. I don't think he did, I think he was just ECHOING what he was told by his coach....... WIN this game or you're done.

You are correct it does start with the head coach, the ultimate responsibility is his. When I said it starts with the QB, I meant a pass resulting in a TD starts with the QB, but the line has to block, & the receiver has to make the catch.

I notice you IGNORED the rest of that post. GO back & watch the Redskin game. Trent UNDERTHREW & OVERTHREW his receivers ALL GAME just what you are accusing JP of. He did NOT sustain drives long enough to REACH the ENDZONE.

Yes the offense has to find the endzone MORE, for the Bills to make the playoffs. What I am saying is it STARTS with the QB, Trent in this case. He has to make the throw, trust his receivers to catch the ball & not constantly check down for little or no gain. If Trent plays well, he will play a PART of the Bills going to the playoffs. I am not trying to have it both ways, Marino, Favre, Elway............ NO QB wins by himself that is what I am saying. If the Bills make the playoffs it will be because the ENTIRE team is better....... including Trent.

Trent did not outplay JP last year PERIOD. I just saw the Redskins game again, & for most of that game Trent did EXACTLY what you accuse JP of. He underthrew & overthrew his receivers time after time. The only drive he looked good was the last drive of the game. This thread is about TRENT not JP, try defending him on his own merits. If the Bills do well in 08 Trent will have played a part, but if they make the playoffs it will be because the entire team is better, not because Trent is at QB.

I HOPE you are correct in your assessment, but right now I have to agree with BADOL. Trent will have to find the end zone in 08 for the Bills to make the playoffs in my opinion.

I have not seen ONE post that said they HOPED Trent fails or is injured. That is simply your interpretation of someone saying they THOUGHT Trent would fail or get injured. It would be especially foolish to HOPE Trent fails, because JP will not be a Bill in 09 putting the Bills back to square one if he does fail. It is obvious there is a difference of opinion about the abilities of BOTH QB's on this board, but WE ARE ALL BILLS FANS.

Just like you crusade against JP. Does that make you not a Bills fan? At the end of the day I know ALL of us Bills fans will root for and support the QB on the field playing for the Bills.
