  1. From CNN

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. said Monday it will offer live radio broadcasts of every U.S. college championship basketball game in 2005.

New York-based Sirius said the NCAA Division I men's basketball championship games will be offered in their entirety, with no blackouts and at no extra charge beyond the basic monthly subscription price of $12.95.

  2. Well, it couldn't be a contract extension for McGee or anyone else because the deadline for contract extensions for this year has passed.

Since it seems to be a buyer for the remaining 4000+ ducats, and the last buyer that did that was an out of town ice cream company, apparently the official ice cream of the Buffalo Bills, I can only assume it was from the Official Cake of the Buffalo Bills, perhaps The Yellow Cake Company of Nigeria, with its unofficial spokesperson, Joe Wilson.

  3. Why is a request for advice post considered a "LAMP"?

    153952[/snapback]

Because it's not normally Bills related.

For instance, a post titled "Drew is the greatest QB ever" is not a LAMP. A post titled "I need help with tiling" is a LAMP post, until someone turns it into a thread about how Drew has killed the tile and masonry industry.

  4. In my day, we didn't have this fancy dancy internet thing for buying essays. No sir. We only had the ads in the back of the latest issue of Rolling Stone. And we had to send for a catalog. Then wait for it to arrive. Then choose what we wanted and order it. Then wait for that to arrive. If you didn't plan ahead, your essay could still be in the mail when it was due!

  5. For classic, I like It's A Wonderful Life. I remember before NBC bought the rights, that there was one year I could have watched it 4 times in one day when different stations had it on at different times.

For more current, Love Actually. Yes, it's more of a love story, but it takes place during the Christmas season, and being Christmas is part of the plot.
