  1. You can't possibly think this is a thread to joke in can you? Oh wait, obviously you do.
  2. Police have not identified either of the combatants, both of whom are in their 20s. While no charges have been filed, detectives are considering possible charges, including weapons possession, against the man with the gun. I'm shocked! It amazes me that so many guys make it to 30.
  3. What a bunch of Bull Pen!
  4. Blasphemer!!! I don't know why I think this but it seems trading a high draft pick for a divisional QB is pretty stupid. I think if the team wants to trade him to a divisional rival it says a whole lot about that player. I wish I could think of a good example to show the stupidity of doing that, but I can't off the top of my head. [/sarc]
  5. This is certainly one for the WTF file. Nice ending though.
  6. Who gives a flying about Tom's paver?! I just wanna win!
  7. I wonder how far it shoots? Could it be used like a condiment squirt gun? Why did you spoiler that? It's pretty much common knowledge.
  8. The Bills have a history of letting their CB's walk and then draft guys to replace them. If they think TM is worth keeping then I think he's still got a lot left in the tank. He's still a top returner, IMO, and can do that if LM gets hurt. Keeping him will maintain a very deep DB corp. Where are those guys now? Not surprising for the general attitudes here. A lot of people will never be happy. Believing Youboty will stay healthy is like believing Roseanne will stick to her diet. He's played 19 games in the last three years. The guy could hurt himself brushing his teeth. Link The bottom line is that you can never be too rich, too good-looking or have too many cornerbacks. This is a cool article on the CB position. Or, more tangibly, at every wide receiver that is fast, athletic and a possessor of soft hands as well as a distinct advantage over the player charged with sticking to him like facial hair: he and the quarterback know in advance where he is going while the cornerback isn't privy to such information.
  9. Linky The Major League Baseball Players Association sued for the return of the seized results, while the government argued investigators should be able to use them since they were "in plain sight" along with the other results during the search. The appeals court's decision says such a standard for computer searches would be dangerous to everyone's privacy as protected by the Constitution's Fourth Amendment. "Seizure of, for example, Google's e-mail servers to look for a few incriminating messages could jeopardize the privacy of millions," wrote the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judges. This is the right decision IMO. It seems the governments argument was that if an investigation of a computer for a specific case comes across information on another crime they can automatically use that info for a criminal charge.
