  13. Maybe he's black now.
  14. From the Olean Times article. So the day after I mentioned him in the column, an e-mail materialized from my old friend Lori Chase of Port Allegany. She does some writing for a web site - including an excellent piece on Bruce Smith’s addition to the Wall of Fame - and knows more about the Bills than anybody I’ve ever known who is not paid to cover the team.
  15. He was drafted 2006 second round.
  16. Well if that was your argument your response is very unclear. JMO
  17. What a head! He doesn't seem to get the whole P.R. thing does he? Hill couldn't afford a lawyer. She did not fight the lawsuit or even respond to it because, she said, she believes that the Bible says that it is morally wrong not to pay your debts. The team won a default judgment of $66,364. "It really breaks my heart," Hill said, her voice cracking as the tears well and spill. "I don't even believe in bankruptcy. "We are supposed to pay our bills. I ain't trying to get out of anything." Hill is one of 125 season ticket holders who asked to be released from multiyear contracts and were sued by the Redskins in the past five years. The Washington Post interviewed about two dozen of them. Most said that they were victims of the economic downturn, having lost a job or experiencing some other financial hardship. Redskins General Counsel David Donovan said the lawsuits are a last resort that involve a small percentage of the team's 20,000 annual premium seat contracts. He added that the team has accommodated people in hard-luck circumstances hundreds of times. He said he was unaware of Pat Hill's case. "The Washington Redskins routinely works out payment plans and alternate arrangements with hundreds of ticket holders every year," Donovan said. "For every one we sue, I would guess we work out a deal with half a dozen."
  18. You can say that but you'd be wrong. Link The Vikings earned their playoff berth and clinched their first division title since 2000 with a 20-19 last-second victory at home over the New York Giants. It is the Vikings first NFC North championship since the division was realigned in 2002. The win also gave Minnesota its first 10-win season since 2000.
  19. Jackson is the better talent. Fitzpatrick's career passer rating is 66.9. Jackson's is 76.5 but he had a 95.4 last year. There is no question he'd be the better backup in talent. He would cause a QB controversy though. That's a distraction this team doesn't need. After every bad game by Edwards people would be screaming for Jackson. JMO Just look at the RJ/Flutie distractions that split the lockeroom. The Bills don't need that. IMO Edwards is this/close to being one of the top ten QB's in the league. Link The place Fitzpatrick has it all over Jackson is their wonderlic scores. Fitzpatrick's was 38 while Tavaris Jackson's was 19. Since Fitzpatrick's wonderlic score is twice Jackson's, I'd take the smarter player when their primary job is to be a backup. A smarter player is going to help a lot more with game planning, IMO. Fitzy isn't a bad backup and IMO, he's good enough.
  20. The guy who lifted the most at the combine is now boxing!! Linky
