  1. If someone is throwing a bottle at your face it could blind you or kill you. I'm pretty sure there is no legal duty to retreat before using non-lethal force in Ohio.
  2. I own a 360, PS3, and PC. I'll probably be buying the PS4. $100 cheaper, free games for PS+, no restrictions on used games, better graphics, and no kinect bundled with it.
  3. Every year its the same. Why would it be different this year? Battlefield 4 has already been proven to be played on a PC with an Xbone controller. Furthermore, both the PS4/Xbone use the same X86 architecture as PCs, so games will be developed on the PC and later ported to the consoles. They are trying to wow people with great graphics, of course they are going to use the graphically superior platform to do it.
  4. Not to go all conspiracy nut on you guys, but in the Kinect patent it says that the kinect actually keeps track of how many people are in the room while content is being watched/played. This is probably to give publishers the option to disable a video/game if too many people are watching. I'm not saying they will make use of this technology, but it's there.
  5. It's true. Almost EVERY game (regardless of platform) is played on a PC during E3. http://www.rockpaper...-little-secret/ Here's proof about battlefield 4 http://i.imgur.com/jEuETMH.jpg Note the backspace button in the top right.
  6. Yep. The HD-DVD is dead, and DVDs aren't big enough for next-gen games. Blu Ray players and burners are also starting to get insanely cheap.
  7. The problem is that nearly all the gameplay footage shown is actually run on a PC. In fact, the entire Battlefield 4 gameplay reveal was played on a PC rather than an Xbone. Bottom line, the graphics shown for most games at E3 won't be anywhere close to what they look like on the Xbone/PS4. You will only get that if you drop about a grand on a PC. On a side note, I find it kind of funny that the Xbone and PS4 have almost exactly the same hardware. Literally the only difference is that the PS4 has more available RAM (and a different kind) and and a slightly newer model of video card.
  8. If the security tape corroborates Jones' story, then this is a gross miscarriage of justice. A beer bottle can severely injure someone and cause permanent injury. He would be well within his rights to defend himself. However, if there was no bottle thrown he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent.
  9. The North remembers.
  10. What's he going to do, sit out the year? What about the next one? Almost no chance of that happening.
  11. This post is pure hogwash. Want to know how much income taxes Exxon Mobil paid last year? $31 billion. Just because the money doesn't go to the US treasury, doesn't mean it's not taxed. The only way to fix the system is to say "Hey Exxon, pay me that $31 billion, not other governments".
  12. Byrd has 1 less forced fumble in his first 4 years than Ed Reed has in his entire career. That should tell you how good Byrd is.
  13. It's not nothing, but it's also not great either. Many WRs have a year or two with 1,000 yards. I'm not convinced that Crabtree, a guy with 1 year of really good production and 4.6 speed, can survive the year+ off and any decrease in explosiveness that comes with the injury. Not to mention this is his 5th year, so unless he was signed recently, this should be his contract year.
  14. Ouch, this could signal Crabtree's exit from SF. He hasn't really produced like a player you would give a big contract to, not to mention he wasn't very fast before the injury.
  15. No such thing as a "#1 WR". Teams only see X, Y, and Z. It's like asking who a teams "#1 LBer" is. No one talks like that.
  16. What a joke.. The surest way to get a copy of the blueprints on millions of computers is to ban it. It's like these people have never heard of the Streisand effect.
  17. The police report makes it seem like he was arrested just to fill someone's quota. Talk about being arrested for nothing.
  18. Hah, what? Crime rates are an an all-time low in the history of civilization.
  19. There is a 0% chance of this guy being taken alive. He could strip naked, drop to the ground, put his hands on his head, and still be shot.
  20. He's been below average since his Achilles surgery. Pass.
  21. You do know that Byrd has 1 less FF since being drafted than Ed Reed has in his entire career, right?
  22. Not all that much when you consider each team commits less than a million bucks each.
  23. Williams will start opposite Gilmore this year IMO. The Bills played mostly off-zone coverage last year, but will play far more man this year. This gives Williams the opportunity to jam the receiver and disrupt his route, which is AJs strength and helps negate a WRs speed.
  24. Only an idiot wouldn't try to restructure Fitz. We save what 500k by cutting him? Restructuring would save millions more against the cap.
