  1. Also, wasting paper is NOT bad. In fact, the vast majority of paper is made from trees that were grown to make paper.
  2. It's actually really interesting, recycling most products costs more than using raw materials. Also, if we put all our garbage, over the last 100 years, into one landfill, it would be 35 square miles and 200 feet high. Videos are kinda NSFW as there is a lot of swearing. http://youtube.com/watch?v=KHAuU5JjRyQ http://youtube.com/watch?v=if2MfYqJgAI&feature=related http://youtube.com/watch?v=Jtex699GyEc&feature=related
  3. DING DING DING. Just like it's close-minded to say all cops are dirty scum bags. Infact, without evidence.... it would be extremely ignorant to say that cops do not follow the trends that every other job does.
  4. Are you people serious? The vast majority of cops are regular normal people like you or me; not some A-holes who drive around arresting black people for being black. Are there racist cops? Yes, but it's no where near the majority.
  5. Trades hair with Todd McShay http://thesportshernia.typepad.com/.shared..._hair_phixr.png

  7. Honestly, Mike Mayock should be working for an NFL team. The guy would make a great GM.
  8. They said on WGR that scouts say he has "muscles coming out of his muscles".
  9. It's interesting to see what people gave us, but it doesn't really matter. None of this stuff means anything.
  10. Recap: Didn't think McKelvin would be there Hardy's character issues, weren't issues Thinks the players are of high character expects McKelvin to play and make an impact next year Says the drafting of Ellis in the 3rd was a surpise... they didn't think he would be there. No one called about JP, no concern about him being a distraction. called him a model citizen Says that Derek Fine is a guy who can line up in the slot, has good hands, and is a very good special teamer Bowen is a spectacular athlete and can get after the QB. Says season ticket holders will be above 50,000 this year. Say they are just finishing up their UDFA process. News in less than 24 hours.
  11. In like 1 minute he will be on. Sorry for the late notice, i just found out myself. This is a good time to hear his explanations for the draft.
  12. I'm in. I'm not expecting a ton of yards from him... maybe 600, but i'm expecting 7+ TD's.
  13. To be fair, he was 2 picks away from being a first rounder.
  14. Will the Bills make the Playoffs this year? I know it's not even OTA's but we can have some fun can't we?
  15. Look, if he has vision and game speed... he will be fine. 40 is by far the most overblown stat for RBs.
  16. We are building a team that has a very good chance at going to the playoffs next near, unlike the bengals. I guess it's time for them to pony up and spend money on scouts.
  17. It just blows my mind how an NFL team does not have a scouting department.
  18. We have defended, and will continue to defend, the Cincinnati Bengals for their stance regarding receiver Chad Johnson’s desire to be traded. We do so because the best way to keep other players from trying to pull the same routine in the future is to not cave in to Chad now. Another prudent strategy to achieve the same end, however, would be to refrain from bringing in more players who might be inclined to misbehave in the future. In this regard, we can’t support the Bengals’ tactics. As a league source opined with respect to several of the team’s 2008 draft picks, the Bengals “are up to their old tricks.” The most glaring selection was Jason Shirley, a defensive tackle from Fresno State. Shirley was ultimately kicked off the team in 2007 after a series of incidents, including a suspension for conduct detrimental to the team and a suspension for a DUI arrest. The last straw was an arrest for driving with a suspended license. The source said that Shirley was off most teams’ draft boards. Per the source, teams also had concerns about Auburn defensive tackle Pat Sims and Kansas offensive tackle Anthony Collins. A Google search revealed that neither player has had any trouble with the law, however. It has been explained to us in the past that the Bengals will take a player like Shirley not because the team doesn’t know about his off-field troubles but because the team’s lack of a full-blown scouting department makes the Bengals more likely to pick a player who had the talent to otherwise be drafted much earlier. Put simply, the Bengals will be more inclined to take the player who generally is regarded as highly talented later in the draft because they lack confidence in their ability to pick a guy who isn’t generally recognized as having the physical talent to play in the NFL. http://www.profootballtalk.com/category/rumor-mill/
  19. Honestly, it's not really a big deal. We could have drafted Albert at 11, but it's not really a need. The 11th pick is too high to be drafting depth. We drafted a Beast (in college, atleast) in Ellis. We then drafted Bell, who is an athletic developmental project. What people seem to forget (or ignore) is that we: A) Signed Spencer Johnson, who had more sacks than all our DTs last year (3) to go along with 16 QB pressures. This will increase pressure up the middle and help our DE's. B) John McCargo developed A LOT last year. He had 2.5 sacks and 7 stuffs last year. The team must have confidence in his continual development. C) We have Marcus Stroud D) Even if Stroud goes down, we are better on 1st and 2nd downs... and much better on 3rd. Regarding Oline, they played very well last season. Their run blocking wasn't great, but that will hopefully improve with time to gel and less men in the box. They did, however, allow only 26 sacks. The depth isn't great, but it is adequate compared to most NFL teams. You won't find many teams that will do well if their LT goes down. Also, The only position in question is Center, which the bills did not address. This may be due to the fact that they could not land one that they thought would develop well enough to replace Fowler. Many of the Centers, other than Pollak and one other, project to be guards in the NFL. Overall, i think they did a good job addressing the increase in pass catching TEs, 4 WR sets, and passing as a whole, in the NFL. The CB's they drafted, other than McKelvin, should give us needed depth when NE rolls out those four WR's (in what seems like 6 out of 10 plays). I think the drafting of Ellis and the CB's are a direct response to playing NE twice a year.
  20. To be honest, did we need this corner? No we didn't. But it's the second last pick in the draft.... you go with BPA.
  21. I'm really not surprised. Teams are passing more often, and using 4 WR sets more and more. NE passed the ball 20 times in a row a few times last season.
