  1. The Geneva Conventions do not apply to terrorist subjects. The conventions protect uniformed soldiers only; which is why spies can be executed on the spot. Same goes for terrorists.
  2. I'm pulling for Corto, he's a local kid from OP.
  3. I think we can, we have like $20-$30 million of the cash to the cap left. Besides, i think they will be willing to go over that a little to lock up their nucleus.
  4. Trent has gained 7-8 pounds of muscle. I hear he's up to 225
  5. Yeah, because speaking out against organized crime is totally worthy.
  6. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Todaro,_Sr. "Mr. Todaro started the famous La Nova pizzeria in North Tonawanda, New York in 1957, moving the business to its present location at 371 West Ferry St. on Buffalo's West Side in 1969. By the 1990s, Joseph Todaro Sr. and his family which include his son, Joseph Jr., his wife Cookie, and their children, Joseph III and Carla have turned La Nova Pizza and Wing Company into the #1 independent pizzeria in North America with annual sales that have been recorded at $25,000,000." "According to local and national law enforcement agencies including the United States Department of Justice [1], Joseph Todaro Sr. is known on the streets of Buffalo and throughout the underworld as "Lead Pipe Joe", a high level member of the North American Cosa Nostra or mafia. Todaro Sr. has allegedly been a top figure in the Buffalo crime family or "The Arm" as it is referred to in western New York since the 1960s " I have never eaten there, and never will. I'm really surprised that the majority of people don't know about its seedy connections. Government source (for those that hate wiki) http://books.google.com/books?vid=ISBN0160...+Sr.&pgis=1
  7. "Evans, who had minor surgery on his shoulder this offseason, will likely command a salary comparable to that of Arizona receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald, a two-time Pro Bowler, inked a four-year, $40 million contract -- with $30 million guaranteed -- in March." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3403771
  8. Merchandise sales do not go to teams, they go to the NFL and are split up.
  9. With emails demanding he apologize. He doesn't seem like a complete dick.
  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor...&id=2403502 calls him "misguided" "disturbing" "Wilson has come off like a Bills fan who hasn't gotten over the Norwood kick. Ralph, it's time to get over it and move on and work within the system, not against it." With the NFL expected the void the deal in a couple of days, it's time for your apology Clayton. Does anyone know his Email; so we can bombard him?
  11. If we took all our garbage from the last 100 years and stuck it in a landfill, it would be 35 square miles and 200 feet high. We have plenty of space. The danger from pollutants from these landfills is almost non-existent, as they are kept contained.
  12. And yet, the vast majority of paper is made from tree farms... so basically you are full of bull sh-- on that. The current way of recycling is more wasteful than using raw materials, so you are hurting the environment by trying to save it. Your advocacy for recycling is extremely flimsy, at best. I would suggest actually using statistics (such as the video uses) rather than using stories to get us emotionally involved.
  13. I'm sorry this project will have to be shut down. This will negatively effect _____ and is not worth the possibility of economic growth. $20 says that happens... it has with so many projects in Buffalo (like the bridge that might kill birds)
  14. Huh? These franchises are going to hit a point where they will plateau or decrease in value. Unless, their revenue per year can increase. In order for someone to buy an asset there has to be a secondary value to it... ie property, or operating income. People don't buy assets "just because".
  15. Except this "dime a dozen" guy is extremely respected in the business world. Ever hear of the Kemp-Roth tax cuts?
  16. Buying an NFL team isn't a very good way to make money. You have to pay $1 billion, then you have to finance a stadium (if necessary),and then you have to pay a re-location fee (if necessary). How much would this cost you? Close to $1.5 billion for $50 million a year return. Anyone who buys the Bills will not be doing it for the money.
  17. Can you really make more money in Toronto? 1) You have to pay a relocation fee to the NFL (it's somewhere in the hundreds of millions) 2) You will probably have to pay for the majority of a new stadium 3) Corporate taxes in Canada are much higher 4) You will likely have to pay Erie County money for breaking the lease on the stadium. Not to mention the Bills are already top 10 in profits. Honestly, who would go through all that to make $40-50 million a year? You are already making $20 million.
  18. So 85 players having a brawl is good? Sounds like they have 0 team Chemistry.
  19. I seriously doubt it. Kemp has been pro-business for years. He was a congressman for 18, the head of HUD, and a vice presidential candidate. In fact, that Steve Forbes quote says it all, he has a lot of friends in business.
  20. "Other than President Ronald Reagan himself, few people in the political world have had more influence on the last quarter century of wealth creation and rising levels of entrepreneurial business expansion than Jack F. Kemp." - Steve Forbes
  21. We already have enough match makers? I doubt it... can you name one other? Kelly is going through Kemp.
  22. Director for AVP, Incorporated (AVPI) Director for Six Flags, Incorporated (SIX) Chairman of the Board/Director for Sports Properties Acquisition Corporation (HMR) Director for Hawk Corporation (HWK) And on the Board of Directors at Oracle.... Sounds like a man with many corporate connections and friends. And being a director doesn't give him any real power? Thats news to me. I'm sure if it came down to it; Kemp could find investors to buy the Bills.
  23. http://sports.aol.com/nfl/story/_a/ravens-...9374x1200074914 Will they even win 5 games this year?
  24. Except, Galisano ACTUALLY has money... also, Jack Kemp is a chairman for multiple billion dollar corporations, there is no doubt his friends could buy the Bills.
