  1. To get off to a fresh start, they needed to get rid of fitz imo. Though I think they should have kept Tavaris over Kolb. I think that falls more on marrone than the front office though. As long as EJ is able to start and is healthy, all this backup qb stuff doesn't matter much. But it is a concern that there really is nothing behind him if the worst happens
  2. He is not contradicting himself. He said the bills keep on making bad decisions at qb, and he is right. Too early to pass judgment on Manuel, so he doesn't count in the tally of good/bad decisions yet
  3. Revis like is a huge exaggeration. But he is looking above average. You can't look at the secondary stats, gotta look at the stats of the receivers he covered. I'm too lazy to look it up right now, but from memory I don't remember him giving up that many plays
  4. Saw that. Here's hoping!
  5. Being stuck with him was the point I was making. They can't just cut him because he got injured in a game and isn't healthy enough to play. They would have to IR him or list him as inactive. But they can't just cut him now unless he passes a bunch of medical tests
  6. Not surprising to have him as an emergency qb. He has played wild cat, is a leader, and threw a td pass. Mooreman was an emergency qb for us as well if I remember correctly I was thinking that as well. And have them do better at avoiding getting hit on those as well
  7. I don't think they can just cut Kolb if he has football related injury. Would have to go to IR or work out a deal with him. Or wait until he is healthy, then cut him.
  8. I think that is all for this week only. If EJ comes back next week, that gives them two of three qbs healthy again. Kolb, he might be back soon or in another month. But if EJ gets better by next week, they will have 2 healthy qbs again. All this stuff about emergency qbs is for this week only. At least that is my thought
  9. 3rd place in the AFC east, here we come! Speaking of the game, what is more telling is the Rex press conference after words. This is so is last season
  10. Its because they don't have leagues 2nd best backup throwing to them anymore
  11. I agree with you he shouldn't have gone back in the game, but him going back in honestly calmed my nerves that it wasn't a serious injury
  12. Def looked like an experimental night. I am not so much worried about the play as much as injuries, even though they appear to be minor. I am hoping for the best, and can't wait to see how we look in the opener. And hopefully EJ gets the start
  13. I'm taking the deja vu and playing the denial card. I was hoping the word vanilla would be avoided this preseason
  14. It is common discussion to compare a team to its competition. Hence why there are so many posts about the pats* on this site
  15. Depends on what math you are using.
  16. Not doomed. Beck is on a plane to buffalo to save the day!
  17. That's what I thought. Defense got tired because offense did nothing all day
  18. No one said the bills were getting any favors. You just came to that conclusion yourself. People send the bills, and other teams made requests, and you acted like it was a myth. But no one said the bills are getting favors. There are so many variables going into creating the schedule, I doubt the bills record or their requests had much impact as other things.
