  1. Umm, if you read the original post there is a link to the post on the Trading Post that has the information... CW
  2. But that doesn't work, for example, when a QB is sacked and fumbles the ball. If the refs think that his arm was going forward, they have to blow the whistle as an incomplete pass, thus killing the play. If they don't do that (and instead assume every time the ball isn't in a player's hands, it could be live), it'd then be legal to plaster the QB (or any player) while going for the ball. It's just not practical. CW
  3. I don't see how that can work. Once the whistle is blown, the play is dead. You tell players to play until the whistle -- so what, now even when the whistle blows players can still knock people around to try gaining possession of the ball? Just doesn't sound right. I agree with the principle of it, I just don't see how you can implement it. CW
  4. Indoor lacrosse rocks; and Buffalo has a team (a team that beat Minnesota - badly - last Friday ). http://www.bandits.com CW
  5. Link's broken. You have to search for "lacorsse" and then click the first link. That article is pure tripe though. CW

  14. Sorry, I see a major problem if you need to be intoxicated before you can talk to someone. That's one of the signs of chemical dependency. Meeting people at a bar is one thing, but when someone says, "I need something stronger than beer before I can talk to someone," then I think they may have an anxiety problem and/or alchohol problem and should probably get help (or at least look into the issue) for it. It's nothing against the OP; I'm just saying that it's something he may want to consider as it's a very common problem that can start to spiral. Or ignore it as the case may be. CW
  15. How about learning to open up without relying on chemicals to do so? CW
  16. So THAT'S why we really lost the game! Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'll let everyone know where I turn up CW

  18. Dammit, they're going to cut me?! How will I feed my family? CW
  19. Whoops, I messed up the date. I changed it to the 20th. It's probably easier to send payment (Paypal or check) to me; I know Campy's had some problems with his internet connection and all. However, if people feel more comfortable sending it to Campy, that works for me; just realize that there will be a delay of a few in getting the DVDs. People would also have to clearly state that it's a donation for DVDs so he doesn't think it's just a plain donation. BTW Rich -- you can make your donation in wings; pack 'em in dry ice and send them my way, ok? CW
  20. Pete's been away -- he must not know about the "OT" button CW
  21. DVD Fundraiser for Campy: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=20544 Basically, 4 Bills DVDs for $25, 8 Bills DVDs for $50, all of the money goes to the fight against MS for Campy. CW
  22. I did this once before for a fundraiser for TSW and managed to raise some decent money for SDS, so I'd like to try it again here. Our very own Campy is raising money to fight Multiple Sclerosis and is asking for donations ( http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=20301 ). As some may know, I have a bunch of Bills DVDs available to TSW members ( http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=9546 ), including the Bills/Vikes game from '02 which I havn't announced yet (but that I quietly put into the Trading Post thread). The deal is such: If people want to contribute to Campy, but also want some DVDs, and are torn between the two, you can do both at once. Pick 4 DVDs for $25 (or 8 DVDs for $50), and all $25 (or $50) will go to Campy (ie: I'll eat the shipping costs and the media). I'll do this for the next week, until Sunday 3/20/05, so get your orders in. Send me the money and I"ll forward it all on to him at the end of the week, along with a list of who donated (so you can check with him if you don't trust me ). If anyone's interested, PM me. CW
  23. I think our music collections must look pretty similar... Saw Spock's Beard live once, they were pretty cool. Saw Yes and Dream Theater together last year and that show was cool as well. And as I said in a previous post - Ayreon is an awesome "band," especially the Human Equation. CW
