  1. Yup, they're good too (a Dream Theater spinoff band). I'm more of a lyrics guy though, so I don't get into them all that much. CW
  2. Love Dream Theater; been a fan since '92. Havn't listened to their most recent album that was released a few days ago. Heard a few songs and wasn't blown away. Not bad though. If you like Dream Theater, you should DEFINATELY check out Shadow Gallery. I'd recommend buying "Tyranny" and "Room V." They're both concept albums and have the same characters; Tyranny is part 1, Room V (just released on Tuesday) is part 2. EXCELLENT. Reminds me of what Dream Theater used to do. Check it out. http://www.shadowgallery.com TicketrBastard doesn't deserve our bandwidth. CW
  3. The 2nd question is 90 in 94. His most yards were in 88 (with 88 catches). CW
  4. I could have, but you know someone else would've jumped in with the exact same comment. CW
  5. That could be taken in a not-so-nice way.... CW
  6. Yes, call them. They'll probably give you an RMA number that you'll need to write on the box so they know who it's from and such. CW
  7. What is this VHS you speak of? CW
  8. What are the chances we can contact someone in the Bills brass and have them raffle off Bills' jerseys to Bills fans... We can each score 10-20 of them! I'm only partially kidding... CW
  9. No idea yet. Probably not, but we'll see. CW
  10. I'm going! I'll be going with my inlaws and my wife (and possibly wife's brother and his wife and baby). Can't wait. I'd offer you a place to stay, but we're staying with her parents. There's more to do in Appleton anyway. What seats did you get? We're in section 129, row 5 if I recall. CW
  11. Yeah, I hear you. I made a compromise with my wife; we always leave the seat AND the seat cover down. That way we BOTH have to lift something to use it. CW
  12. It was a 3D movie where they took you into a bunch of different rooms and you got to see a lot of cool 3d effects. The Simpsons part was ripped from the episode where Homer and Bart get sucked into the alternate dimension and you see them as "3d" characters instead of cartoons. Well, IMAX took it one step further and made it TRUE 3D (if you've never seen a 3D IMAX movie, go check one out; they're very cool). http://www.imax.com/cyberworld/entrance.html Click on "Inside Cyberworld" and then "Meet the Inhabitants." Lots of info on the site. IMAX seems to be a much bigger deal in England than in the States. When we were over there (Oct '01), there were posters all over the place and the showing we wanted to see was actually sold out! The theater was packed when we went as well, and it wasn't just for this one - they had a lot of IMAX screens in one theater. Pretty cool. CW
  13. That part was, without a doubt, AWESOME. Saw it at the IMAX theater in London. It was great! CW
  14. Exactly! Whenever I fly home, I make sure my parents have a nice Leon's pizza sub waiting for me. I *love* those things. I try to replicate them at home, but it's just not the same... I'll be eating well August 19th - August 25th (no home opener this year though, since my wife will be in grad school and has classes then ). CW
  15. I wasn't interested in the people who swam there, as I don't think I could swim that far... CW
  16. Why do you say it's a ripoff? Just because of the cost? Or is it not that much fun? I thought it sounded cool (although I don't remember which island it was off of...). Pretty sure we won't be doing any dinner cruises, considering we'll be doing that for four days there and four days back CW
  17. And if someone wants to put it in the cookbook, that'd be even better: http://www.twobillsdrive.com/cookbook CW
  18. I was hoping to do a luau in Honolulu since we don't leave until 11pm. Is that reasonable? My wife really wants to do the cruise; it's right after a very hectic schedule for her (working full time, taking two classes for her MBA and working part time at H&R Block for tax season), and she wants the "sit back without any cares" that the cruise will provide. Plus, cost does factor in. Roundtrip airfare to Hawaii was roughly $800/pp, whereas it's about $300/pp to San Diego. The cruise (for 14 days) is only $1800/pp and covers all the food and obviously room for the whole trip. I agree that I'd like to spend more time in Hawaii itself, but that's not going to happen on this trip. Definately looking forward to that. One thing that shocked me (and probably shouldn't, in this post 9/11 world) is the fact that you're not allowed to bring ANY bags to the Arizona monument, including purses and camera bags. Sounds ridiculous to me, but we saw it mentioned on several sites. What the heck am I going to do to the ship that hasn't already been done?! Oh well. There was a submarine ride I wanted to do, but don't recall where it was. Same thing with the helicopter tour. I didn't realize Hawaii was expensive - thanks for the warnings everyone. CW
  19. What the hell? That's the lamest salary cap ever! So the rich teams can afford more/better teams than the poorer teams, yet again... Nice. CW
  20. Does anyone watch "Hell's Kitchen?" (it's another lame reality show that my wife loves watching). Anyway, these people were waiting for their food from the restaurant and it wasn't coming for nearly three hours. So one of the patrons gets pissed and orders pizza. When it arrives, the maitre'd says that it's illegal for him to eat it there (not sure if that's true or not). The guy gets up and says, "I have a doctrite in music theory. Do you have a doctrite?" "I have an education." "Do you have a doctrite?" "I have an education, sir." "See, you don't, so I'm more educated than YOU are!" and he pokes the guy in the shoulder. It was amazing. Like having a PhD in music theory means you're the king or something? Get real. CW
  21. You should probably think about storing a backup copy off-site as well. What happens if your apartment burns down? I'm sure you've already thought of that though. CW
  22. Some really good info in the thread; I'll have to see how much we can do, since we're on the cruise. The Arizona is DEFINATELY something we're going to do. I'm really looking forward to that. Here's the list of where we'll be and what days and times: Day City/Island Arrive Depart Fri Lahaina, Maui 7:00 am 5:00 pm Sat Nawiliwili, Kauai 7:00 am 6:00 pm Sun Hilo, Big Island 7:00 am 6:00 pm Mon Honolulu, Oahu 7:00 am 11:00 pm Tue Kailua-Kona, Big Island 8:00 am 3:00 pm CW
  23. The Sub House in Hudson, WI (and a few other places in the Twin Cities) beats both of those places, hands down. Plus, they offer free delivery. I don't think they're a chain though. CW
  24. http://www.startribune.com/stories/484/5445859.html If you don't want to register (and can't read it), check out http://www.bugmenot.com CW
  25. We're going on the Radience of the Seas (Royal Carribean). They have a rock climbing wall, so I'll probably try that (not that I'm in the best of shape, but it does look like fun). They had some really good classes and seminars when we went to Alaska (on the Mercury, Celebrity Cruise ship). I didn't mind the two days at sea we had on that trip, just concerned about 8... The price was right though -- $1899/person. Airfare to Hawaii was around $1600 alone so the cruise is a better value, and the food (especially dinner) is definately top-notch on the ships. CW
