  1. No it doesn't.... http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=291018020 http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2009101811/2...alyze/box-score Just because you keep saying it, doesn't make it true.
  2. Except for the 3 catches he had, you're right. Oh, and the two first downs he drew from defensive penalties. And that 9 yard rush too. Otherwise, you're right - he didn't do anything. What a complete 0.
  3. That's what I've been trying to say, but nobody here is buying it. However we're not above you guys yet - you have an extra win.
  4. You mean the Pats team that we should've won, if not for a dumb fumble...?
  5. Short safe passes that amount to nothing? He was 5/5 and averaged 8.6 yards per pass. That's pretty high. Fitz averaged only 4.6/attempt. I'm not saying Trent's the answer, but based on today's performance, Fitz isn't either -- and I think Trent was actually better.
  6. Maybe our pass defense is actually not half-bad...? We've held the Jets and Browns to next to nothing in the air... Might not be a coincidence.
  7. Or how about, "The Bills forced 6 interceptions?" Remember, we had guys out there playing too. You think it's a fluke that we held both Cleveland and the Jets to almost nothing in the air? Maybe we have a decent pass defense?
  8. Right, because he was only 5/5 before the injury...
  9. I should've started Warner.... I hope Rivers keeps up tomorrow
  10. No idea. Wish the announcers were half awake.
  11. Fair enough. Thanks!
  12. I'm on the fence... I have Ted Ginn on my team. He hasn't done crap most of the season, which is fine - I haven't started him at all this year (I have Roddy White and Colston as my 2 starters, and TO as a backup). Pierre Garcon is available as a free agent, and I'm seriously thinking about cutting Ginn for Garcon. Thoughts?
  13. Saw this on Fanball.com: Robert Royal : Royal leads league in drops 10/18/2009 08:26 AM THE NEWS Robert Royal is tied for the NFL lead in drops with five, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. OUR VIEW He has just eight catches, so that is a staggering number. He is one of the least valuable, if not the least valuable, starting fantasy tight end in the NFL.
  14. How to rob a bank: Put on ski-mask Write note saying, "Give me all your money in small, unmarked bills." Walk into bank. Hand teller note. Take money bag and run out of bank You seriously think that's a felony?
  15. I don't think so, personally. Heck, in one of the cases it sounds like he tried to tell her to hang herself instead of drown in a river -- yet she still chose the river. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091016/ap_on_...raging_suicides

  17. He's lucky he's not being charged with 1st degree attempted murder, since it could easily be argued that it was premeditated by him leaving the room to get the gun. The guy should go to jail for a long time.
  18. The article said: " As for the rate increases DirecTV says are at the heart of this dispute, there is a "zero total dollar increase" on the table from Versus. In other words, if subscriptions continue to grow, the amount of money DirecTV will pay Versus will not. According to the network, this proposal was presented in the negotiation several days ago and DirecTV hasn't responded to it -- despite continuing to claim in recent media reports that Versus is trying to "jack up our rates."" The "in other words" part of that says that if subscriptions grow, the money DirecTV has to pay won't. It doesn't say that the initial amount they have to pay to continue carrying Versus is not going up. In other words, if they paid $1/customer for a total of $16M last year, Comcast could still be saying, "Pay us $1.20/customer, for a total of $19.2M, but if you get more customers 6 months from now, you won't have to pay us any more."

  20. A better question is would you WANT to survive?
  21. It was an auction league, and I was able to get Warner for only $7 ($100 bankroll, 14 positions). I actually only offered $7 to help drive the price up - but nobody else bit.... So I was "stuck," although it did come in handy during Rivers' bye week. In hindsight though, I would've been better off putting some of that cash on another HB... Live and learn.
  22. That's why I don't think companies should be allowed to own content AND the distribution medium as it creates unfair anti-competitive situations. It's the main reason I am anti-Bluray, since Sony owns the hardware, the movies, and the medium. http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global/artic...ssetId=P6220002 "DIRECTV was already paying Comcast more than any other non-Comcast distributor to air Versus — and now Comcast is demanding an overall rate hike of 20% on top of that. Comcast also forces DIRECTV to make Versus available to a much larger portion of our customer base at our own expense than they require from other TV providers — most notably, DISH Network."
