  1. Oh, in other words Ruben wanted to win ?!
  2. Yea, somebody please help me understand why TD let Reuben go ?
  3. Lee Evans is a class act whom I hope spends an entire HOF career as a Buffalo Bill. Pile on posters !
  4. The Buffalo Bills will not win consistently with WM as the primary RB, period.
  5. No doubt, Marv now recognizes the "disapointment" as a near total waste of a # 1 pick on the level of MW (hidden message here ?). And quite nearly the reincarnation of Lonnie Johnson with a running back number. I'm sure Marv has someplace in mind for WM where there is "something to do". Billslaw: Never include the names or initials WM. In the same sentence as TT.
  6. 6) Trade Mcgahee to the Raiders(or whoever will take him) - We'll never get to the next level with him as the feature back 7) Make a best effort to sign Fletcher 8) Extend Losman & Evans
  7. Just a couple of additional notes on very good posts. Don't know if anybody else noticed, but Bills fans have gotten the very short end of the HD stick. Here is a way to share our thoughts with the great minds at CBS. http://www.cbs.com/info/hdtv/index.php# , click "feedback" then click "cbssportsline feedback". Also, for directv subscribers, NFL games in HD require the $100 superfan add-on. Long time directv customers have called and gotten significant reductions of 50 to 100 %. We'll need the whole package to watch the Bills go deep into the playoffs next season !
  8. 5) Throwing a hail mary with plenty of time and lots of room for a 1st down pass. 6) Robert Royal becoming Lonnie Johnson for hopefully just 1 game.
  9. Prayin' for you, your family, Travis, his family and all those who serve our country so nobly. Keep us posted. Everyone on TSW cares ....alot. Go Bills !!
  10. Move to france and take your white flag with you fool.
  11. Add kudos to WM for some solid blitz pick up work including one facial that resulted in a Jax player getting up wobbly.
  12. Domes = Boring Weather = Football Indoors = Basketball
  13. We have to have the feeling that the coaching staff has this team headed in the right direction and that they are starting to believe in themselves and each other. The guys are 12 inches right of being 4 - 0 over the last 4 (turning it around after 3 ugly blow outs). And some real exciting football at that. JP haters - did you want wing sauce with that crow ?
  14. Good comments all. What is especially noticable throughtout is a trend that the NFL is pushing hard. Many more games (frequently the best ones) are on subscriber media. Seems it is a core strategy of the NFL "suck every last dollar out" strategy. If the trend continues, we have to wonder what will be left on "free" tv - though it's hard to imagine cable companies coming up with the billions from networks. NFL ticket is already over priced with fewer games and an extra hit for HD. The only conclusion is that we'll continue to pay more for less.
  15. Heartily agree with everything you say except that I thought it stunk to pay extra for HD. Called DirectTV, told them so and they caved - took half off. The extra $$ still stink but half as much. However, HD is like an addictive drug but didn't let them know that.
  16. Great posts in this chain. According to this and other links on Forbes, the franchise is in relatively good shape, especially for (I think) the 2nd smallest market in the league. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2006/30/06nfl_...ons_Rank_2.html The relatively low debt leaves ample equity to manage cash requirements such as player bonuses. One of the challenges the Bills face is ticket prices and here they are: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...et-prices_x.htm "The highest average ticket cost is in New England ($90.89) and the lowest is in Buffalo ($41.29)." Great for the fans but marginal for the financial state of the franchise. Prediction: get ready for increased ticket prices to compete in today's nfl. IMHO the best news is, even if the decision makers wanted to move the Bills (be it Mr Wilson or his successor), where would they move to ? I think the nfl has slightly overexpanded - with a half dozen equal or better candidates to fill the LA void. Hope everybody has a blessed Holiday.
  17. This is all well and good and every red blooded thick skinned Bills Fan wants it to happen. Trouble is, the economics don't work. Only way it works now is that RW's original $50 k investment is slightly paid off and the franchise is only slightly in the black each year. The economics falls apart with a $ 60M annual interest nut. This might be better as a separate post.
  18. Please describe a scenerio where the Bills stay in Buffalo when RW passes.
  19. With AT in the game, the Bills O misses: 1) A step running wide 2) A half dozen dances that turn gains into losses 3) A 'look how pretty I am' attitude With MW in the game, Green Bay would have been closer or a loss, Indy would not have been as close and Texas D was slowed in the 4th because the Train hit them and MW would have just danced for them. Should have kept Travis Henry. RW's comment is the end for MW in a Bills Uniform. Just like it was for Flutie - and Flutie only saved the franchise.
  20. Can't compare 2 yrs td's to JP's 18 games, but whatever. Fact is, JP has the tools. Has the arm and athletics to get the job done. I don't see the intangibles. When he's on the sideline he sits alone at the end of the bench and stares off into who know's what. After the PP touch, PP ran right past him and JP stood on the goal line all alone with his hands in the air. I don't see 11 offensive players standing on the sideline, focused on making it happen. JP has to bring the leadership or it's off to Rob Johnsonville.
  21. They look amazingly similar to these....hmmmmmm 1998 A/C 575/326 Pct. 56.7 TD26 Int 28 Rate 71.2 1999 A/C 533/331 Pct 62.1 TD26 Int15 Rate 90
