  1. Again with your selective statistics. Did Brady bang your daughter or your mother or something and then run off right before he became a FUTURE HALL OF FAMER? Why do you have such an axe to grind with him? He's a winning QB who isnt defined by conventional methods. He's not the most gifted in any area but he's a winner and I'll take that any day over the Manning's, the Vick's, the Palmer's or the J.P Losmans of the world.
  2. So is AKC saying that he'd rather have Losman than Brady? How many QBs besides Manning would he prefer on his team over Brady? Does AKC dispute the fact that Brady is most likely a first ballot Hall of Famer? AKC likes quoting selective statistics doesnt he?
  3. Wow, you are either seriously mentally ill or intellectually dishonest.
  4. Personally, the Pats should only sign 2-3 of those players. 1. Asante Samuel - even if they have to franchise him. 2. Daniel Graham 3. If he decides to keep playing; Troy Brown The rest can be replaced
  5. Wow, Peyton Manning is a great QB! What are you going to tell us next, that water is wet? How about that there's no oxygen in space? Come on, break some more ground here.
  6. Want to look at the Pats? Lets look at the Pats and how they're "getting older" shall we? Offensive line; Matt Light Logan Mankins Dan Koppen Stephen Neal Nick Kazcur Ryan O'Callaghan ALL these guys are locked up and have no more than 6 years NFL experience i.e YOUNG Defensive Line Richard Seymour Ty Warren Vince Wilfork Jarvis Green Mike Wright Again, all but Warren locked up long term and again, none over 30. Quarterback; Need I even? Brady will be 30 in August Running backs Laurence Maroney Corey Dillon (if he comes back) Kevin Faulk Patrick Pass Heath Evans. Maroney will be a 2nd year player (and starter) next season. Faulk is entering his 6th or 7th year. Dillon most likely will retire or come back in a Jerome Bettis type 3rd down and short role. Wide Receivers; Chad Jackson Troy Brown Jabar Gaffney Reche Caldwell This area needs addressing despite Caldwell's and Gaffney's solid play this post season. Troy Brown may hang them up as well. Tight Ends Benjamin Watson Daniel Graham David Thomas Graham is a FA but my feeling is that he comes back. All are sub-30 Linebackers; Tedy Bruschi - 10 year vet 34 yrs old Rosevelt Colvin - 30 years old Mike Vrabel - 32 years old Tully Banta-Cain - 27 Junior Seau? - 3 years older than dirt Secondary (assuming Samuel comes back) Ellis Hobbs Asante Samuel Randall Gay Eugene Wilson Rodney Harrison Artrelle Hawkins James Sanders Harrison is 35 and now injury prone. Wilson has had a rash of injuries as well but is only 27. Sanders and Hawkins got some very valuable starting experience this year at Safety. Throw in the rookie kicker and there are only about 3 areas that need some sort of upgrades with Linebacker being the most important. They'll be dominant in the AFC East at the very least while Belichick and Brady are on the team and maybe longer provided they continue to embrace their current philosophy. I can see them franchising Asante Samuel if a deal cannot be reached; I can see them using a lot of their cap room to go after a Lance Briggs I can also see them addressing LB/Safety and even WR in the draft. They have 2 #1's and rarely miss on first rounders; (Seymour, Wilfork, Warren, Watson, Graham, Maroney, Mankins) Sorry folks but the forecast in Buffalo calls for gloom and doom for the forseeable future. Looks to me like the Pats are getting younger
  7. None of this erases the last 7 years or so of football futility in Buffalo however.
  8. While Deion Branch was a very good WR for the Pats, how'd he help Seattle get back to the Super Bowl this year? Oh wait.... They do need to address LB and safety in the off-season 2nd year in a row they didnt make the Super Bowl? You say that like its easy to do or something. San Diego was NOT ripe for the taking, they just were ripe on that particular day. Much like the 01 Rams. Keep HOPING that the Pats are in decline however because you have to hang your hat on something to make yourself believe that come August and September that your team has a shot at the playoffs. conclusion; pats will have a tough time filling their needs (as will 31 other teams) and may or may not be as good next season. They are however for the most part getting younger in most areas of the team with the exception of the two listed above and they are pretty much a lock to win between 10-13 games per year during this "Brady-Belichick" run.
  9. Just like the Dolphins were supposed to take the mantle THIS year? Keep predicting it though, one of these years it has to come true I guess.
  10. If thats the case then why were the Pats 5-11 in 2000 under Bledsoe & Belichick? Check the Pats record pre & post Brady. He's a first ballot Hall of Famer who upon entering Canton will drop trou and proceed to take a crap on Jim Kelly's bust.
  11. Apparently, we lived in a utopian society prior to 2000. Who knew?
  12. I didnt say one word about officiating. The refs did a decent job. The Pats lost and the Colts won, there's nothing more to say. I'd still take my chances on NE winning another Super Bowl before Buffalo.
  13. None of that erases the fact that; Patriots - 3 Super Bowl trophies Bills - Wide Right followed by 3 consecutive thumpings. Enjoy what little you have. Cant wait to see all the love for J.P Losman next season. I'm going to sit back and re-read that last sentence while giggling like a little girl.....
  14. If the Pats can put effective pressure on Manning and the offense can mix up the run and pass on the Colts D then the Pats should win. The Colts D "flipped the switch" because the KC and Balt offensive gameplan was to simply run the ball despite there being 8-9 guys in the box all day. They couldnt pass the ball if and when they wanted to because they suck and they were behind which allowed Freeney and the pass rushers to simply tee off. Dont underestimate "Clock Killin" Corey Dillon's impact in this game if the Pats are ahead/tied or down by only a few. Patriots 27 Colts 17
  15. So because Losman wasnt exactly horrible in the regular season, this means he could ramp it up in the playoffs against the top teams in the NFL? Delirious you are Reality you must find hmm?
  16. I see a lot of jealousy disguised as anger and hatred here. You hate only that which you wish to become.
  17. Pats are -3.5 against the Colts this week. Hence the underdog tag?
  18. NE will need to address the LB position as well as secondary especially if they dont franchise Asante Samuel. They may wish to draft another WR or acquire one via free agency. I could see them trading down for a first rounder next year as well like they did in 02. They'll be a force in the AFC East for years and years to come. Buffalo will have to fight the Jets for second fiddle.
  19. Um, steroids are a part of the Chargers locker room. Just ask Shawne Merriman and Luis Castillo. Tell me again how the Patriots cheat?
  20. Best way to make the playoffs next year? Petition the league for a move to the NFC North or West division.
  21. How about NOT letting Marvin Harrison run free? How many times does this guy run wild all over the field uncovered? This dude might be the best route runner ever not named Jerry Rice.
  22. I'm detecting some serious sour grapes and some serious buying into conspiracy theory nation.
