  1. Look at my join date, bozo.
  2. And had a sh------- entertainment center, a sh------- database...and as of yet no one's made a movie about the history of mud. Yes, I read a book about the history of mud. I do things like that. I don't know why either.
  3. Friends don't let friends post drunk.
  4. Uhhh...yeah. But 400 of them are telling Holcomb's Arm he's an idiot, which doesn't take much time. I'm a little more surprised that I've built an entertainment center, written two databases, and read eight books in the same time.
  5. When I'm talking about Charles Darwin, I will make a specific point to let you know. Celebrate Our Monkey Ancestors Day is October 10th.
  6. October 10th.
  7. Or the Orchard Park Bills...
  8. I think John Kerry already trademarked that title...
  9. I'm a liberal, I only recognize "Celebrate Our Monkey Ancestors" day.
  10. Well, the obvious solution to that is to ban prenatal care. If the birth defect had never been identified, the abortion never would have needed to be performed...
  11. No bad at all...literally, post-partum could apply to either. I just wanted to make sure I completely understood you. I know of no conclusive evidence either. All I'm going on is my own personal anecdotal evidence...which I'm more than willing to generalize, but not without the caveat that it is personal anecdotal evidence. It would be an interesting and useful study for someone to perform, though...
  12. More like Monty Python's Flying Circus. "If she weighs as much as a duck...she'll float...so she's a witch!" You know...I'd honestly thought that everyone in the world had heard by now that the abortion-breast cancer myth had been thoroughly debunked. I forgot about people's infinite capacity to ignore what's inconvenient to them.
  13. Of course he's not going to listen. I'm just amazed at how many different ways he can find to "regress toward the mean" (sic).
  14. I was going to say...but I've only read printed studies, none on the internet, so it's obviously not credible science...
  15. "Post-partum" as in post-abortion? (I ask because, while I'm not saying you're misusing the term, "post-partum" in common usage means "post-birth"...I just want to make sure I'm clear on what you mean.) I would actually consider that a form of psychological trauma. But it brings up an interesting point...post-partum depression does usually mean "post-birth". Clearly, the birthing process causes many women psychological trauma. Maybe the government should just ban pregnancy completely...
  16. It's conservative social policy: life begins at conception and ends at birth.
  17. It's falls under the umbrella of the government's role being to prtotect us...
  18. Damn. I was so hopeful. On the bright side, at least we won't have to cancel the upcoming Joey Balls/catchescannonballs cage match...
  19. The same reason you put drool over every post. He's got to be himself.
  20. Wacka, Rich in Ohio, and catchescannonballs.
  21. I've seen it too, in every woman I know who's had an abortion. But - and here's the really salient point here - I don't think it's my job or the governments to protect people from the psychological trauma of their own choices.
  22. I thought your work was done and you were leaving?
  23. That's as completely !@#$ing stupid as when someone on the right trots out "Well, Clinton did it too!"
  24. Really, that's all you had to say right there.
  25. The element of chance--that is, of measurement error--causes scores to seem more widely distributed than they really are. Thus, someone who scored a 750 on the math section of the SAT is expected to get a 725 upon retaking that test. 830319[/snapback] CHANCE AND MEASUREMENT ERROR ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS!!!
