  1. I like that we got a little coverage there from ESPN. Sounds like a bozo who could be a champ if he figures it out. Low risk, high reward.
  2. The guy I saw on TV was wearing a navy Spiller 21 jersey.
  3. I wish Stevie well (it's better for us if he succeeds, anyway). And I'm glad he's home to play for the Niners. But anyone thinking they're a lock for the playoffs forgets that the Cardinals and Rams are no joke in that division.
  4. Just take consolation knowing you win first prize for most apropos handle.
  5. So, if someone was to ask you what paid for your car, you'd tell them "4,238 cheeseburgers?"
  6. Woods, Williams and Goodwin are all better than whoever Atlanta's third option was when they drafted Jones.
  7. A drafted player doesn't "cost" a pick.
  8. The guys at WGR who walk the hallways at OBD and see the members of this organization interact have been saying repeatedly that Marrone/Whaley just weren't big fans of Stevie.
  9. If Stevie Johnson was undisputably the best receiver on the team, then nobody would be disputing it. But they are. They have been. Throughout last season, throughout this thread...for a long time now. I'll stand up for the "haters" here and guarantee you, without a doubt, Whaley and co. traded Stevie based on their observations, not mine.
  10. Uh...Stevie had 10 more yards and the same amount of TD's in one less start...than a rookie.
  11. Oh my god. By your logic, every team except the Redskins and Seahawks gave up their 1st round pick.
  12. Boy, reading this thread, you'd think Stevie out-produced Scott Chandler in 2013.
  13. It's conditional. Could be a third.
  14. If him and Murray are hanging around in the fourth, I'd be satisfied. Not holding my breath though.
  15. But that's all over...the moment we ride up...Troy's BUCKET.
  16. I predict we'll see another fifty threads about it.
  17. For the uninitiated, over 40 crowd: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/trollface-coolface-problem
  18. Well, if the organization's goal was to keep everyone guessing: mission accomplished.
  19. I'm 29. My dad died March 29. He was 65 and received a liver transplant 22 years ago. Third ensuing heart attack got him. We had no delusions that he'd make it to 100 and beyond (no luck explaining that to him, though). It still sucked/sucks. Hard. But I doubt there's any poster here who's been the grief and turmoil Dareus has.
