  1. Uh...we were up 14-3 going into halfitme. Could have been 14-10.
  2. Probably wasn't trying to linger too long in "downtown" Detroit following the Ferguson ruling.
  3. Marrone has nothing to do with how well the defense plays. He has everything to do with how poorly the offense plays. Good players make plays. Bad players have bad plays drawn for them. Don't you get it?
  4. So then you must think Jerry Hughes is the second coming given that our DLine hasn't changed a lick since 2012, otherwise. Other than coaching, what else got them from how they played that year to last year to this year?
  5. Sully tweeted: The Bills have outscored the Jets, 118-40, in their last three meetings. Their quarterbacks are 54 of 77 for 713 yards, 8 TDs and no picks. In those three games, Jets quarterbacks have gone 45 of 98 for 405 yards, one touchdown, eight interceptions and 15 sacks.
  6. So you're pissed about an offensive game plan that got us 38 points. Okay. Cool.
  7. Then eliminate divisions and play against your conference with two interconference games each year. I've suggested this in the past.
  8. Even when you score 38 points against a division rival? The Jets give up an average of 24 points per game...when they're not playing against the Bills. This year we hung 43 and 38 on them. But please, let's critique the game plan.
  9. And last night there were several times when OLinmen LITERALLY had Bills players wrapped up by the waist as they ran unabated to the QB.
  10. Seriously, this board, even in the virtual sense, would have burst into flames.
  11. Does Marrone get any credit for this? I know OP acknowledged the coaching role. Anyone else? Consistent with what I've always said: I think it's more of a testament to our players. We've got some very very good ones! Hughes just doesn't quit. Mario is finally playing like the man-monster he is. Dareus and Kyle Williams, when they're clicking, are just too much for a line to handle. Preston Brown is quietly become the best addition of the off season. Brandon Spikes sets the tone. And whether it be by ripping a guy down by his hair or by his face, Nigel Bradham is a bad, bad man. Imagine if we got a bruiser at strong safety. Can you imagine having to make it through all those guys only to get licked by a Bob Sanders-type guy who just wants to separate you from the ball?
  12. Yeah, I can't believe they called the play that had two lineman double teaming the defender who still made it into the backfield. Why is THAT play in the playbook?
  13. ...8 times already this year. Jesus, they're 3-8. But at least that guy made that one catch that one time in a losing game.
  14. Hahaha it's a very very good defense. But for real, watch other teams.
  15. Is this when we start bitching about runs on first and second?
  16. And if we don't? All credit be to him?
  17. You know or the two guys assigned to block the one could...block...the guy.
  18. No actually the OLine sucked
  19. Well, to be clear, I said Orton was the problem because of what he did with those four throws, not having anything to do with the game leading up to it. And again, there was a receiver running wide open into the endzone. How big of an ask is it to have a nine year veteran hit him from 15 yards out? I'm sorry, isn't one of the ongoing critiques how they coach not to lose? Well, they're not, actually. Would you like to wager that the Browns will win the North this year? In fact, if Baltimore wins tonight, Cleveland's in fourth place in the division....where they started the week.
  20. Well, at least you didn't stray from the "fire-everyone" solution.
  21. And nobody is disputing that. What we ARE disputing is whether it's the coach or the not-even-top-20 QB we have who's to blame. They should have lost to the hapless Falcons yesterday. Mike Smith practically ran the ball into the Atlanta endzone on Cleveland's behalf.
