DeLuca — Seriously, ok it was against the Texans. Fact is though that he threw for over 300 yards, had the game winning drive and threw for 3TDs.. BIGGEST thing is that he came back and played well after a horrible INT.
You are completely a tool. JP has shown that he has made some leaps and bounds today, he has also shown he has learned a lot. Finding a way to win, passing for huge numbers, 3 TDs. Man, give the guy some damn credit. He deserved it in every way. You have to admit the boy has got talent. Just admit it, it'll make you feel better.
I tell you, that is the reason why I like JP. He's learning, he has shown some moxy today and he shown he is learning how to win and drive the ball. Great job JP, shut the Nall and Holcomb naysayers up!!
6 years for planning, if that is the case is not very long. In the area in which I live now, the Inner-County Connector has been in the works for now 22 years. And just NOW has been approved. After fights, research, etc., etc. Our Mixing Bowl project has been worked on now for about 9 years.... planning and construction.
I agree it's a catch 22, however obviously the playcalling called for them to run the ball, keep manning off the field as much as possible as well as not let the Colts D-line T-up JP every time he goes back to throw.
I firmly believe that with his protection, whether he was setting up in shotgun, planning on rolling out, etc. he would get killed. The Bills o-line can not block worth a damn.
tennesseeboy has it right. Enough with the cradling of JP, let him play. They obviously told him to sit still and not scramble, and they are limiting the pass calls. Let him loose a bit.
What are you talking about? The Redskins aren't making this move because of bad play by Brunell, they are doing it for their investment. The problem with the Skins has been their Defense.
And in regards to the Bills. JP is really a half year behind because of all of the crap that happened last year. He needs the year. And if they followed your idea, who would they bring in? Nall a guy who has what? 1 maybe 2 starts? Or Holcomb who we all know is not the answer?
Forgive Jay from DC. We both live in an area where people have been calling for a change in the QB position for a LONG time.
I believe it's simple. They drafted a ton of defensive players last year... this year it better be o-lineman, WRs and of course they have to land the biggest, badest, best free agent o-lineman.
JP, like all QB's needs protection. And not the protection from whatever he could catch on Chippewa Street.
And then fire JP, Marv, Jauron, Spikes, Clements, Lindell, the o-line, the drunken 12th man causing fights and the CEO of Mighty Taco for not making Mighty Taco available and cheapt at the games.
Everyone that is 3-6 or worse, so if things stay like this we should be picking 11th or better.

So you will blame everything on the QB position? So the o-line is good enough for any QB to come in and win? Name a QB, that given no protection can win? Better yet, I'll answer for you... none.
I will say one thing though that I wish JP would do or that the powers that would let him do... RUN.
Excuse me. Watch a game. He has probably 1 second to get rid of the ball before getting hit. If you look at good o-lines, ie: the colts. d-linemen don't even get close to the QB. And if they do, it's AFTER about 3 seconds tick on by.
Wow, way to see the rest of guys that play on the Offensive side of the ball. Hard to do any of what you listed when you have someone either hitting you or in your face within a second.
