  1. I just think it's quite sad how people can easily blame him for everything that is going wrong. Just feel bad for the guy, he still isn't getting a fair chance. By that I mean, last year we all know what MM did to him. And now this year, they have not helped him out one bit with protection. The kid is going to be damaged goods pretty soon.
  2. O-line, again played poorly. Blame Losman if you will, blame anyone else if you will. The FACT of the matter is that the o-line lets people get to Losman within a second every snap. No time to run, no time to dump pass, no time to set. If you blame this loss on Losman, I believe you are a fool. The guy only had 13 opportunities to throw the ball in the game and completed 9 of them. He was sacked what? 4 times? I would hate to see how many times he was either knocked down or hurried. If you want to know the difference between a Championship team and a losing team it was quite evident... look at Manning and the Colts... then compare to Losman and the Bills. Manning had all of the time in the world EVERY passing play. That sets up everything. Bottomline... the Bills are on the right track whether you believe it or not. We're just lacking big time in o-line talent. Peace out — go bills.
  3. Got to love Bills "fans". Typical crap and negativeness. Sad, very sad.
  4. Retarded post. Travis has been gone for a while. WHO CARES ABOUT TRAVIS. Oh yeah, and great character in Travis. HAHAHAHAHA!!!
  5. It is JPs job to make the guys around him better. It is his responsibility to not let those guys make the same mistakes over and over..... Hmmmm. Not to sure about that. When will the responsibility of a o-lineman missing a block become their responsibility? Face it, it's easy to blame him. Fact is that he is better than last year, even if by a small amount. The o-line sucks... come on 5 sacks yesterday? Were they all his fault?
  6. Thanks to however you spell your name... "anything is possible". Who would have thought that the Fish could beat the Bears? So why not right?
  7. I will be the first to predict it. Bash if you want, but I have to do it. Being a loyal fan and all. Bills 17 Colts 10 Jets 20 Pats 9 Miami - who cares. Making us 4-5 going into the Houston game. Even though they looked ugly on the Offensive side of the ball. A win, is a win. A win can give this team a lot of confidence. On the defensive side of the ball, they stopped a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame in Brett Favre. Next week, the will face another future Hall of Fame QB in Manning. They will be up for the challenge and win.
  8. Ohhhhhh predictions. Hmmmmm. Bills 3 Pack 0 Kidding... Bills 27 Pack 6
  9. I am a sucker for optimism. I am personally sick and tired of everyone spouting negative crap about the team. We all knew they were going to be "rebuilding" this year right? So with that being said... GO BILLS!!! MAKE FAVRES LAST VISIT TO THE RALPH A BAD ONE.
  10. First what does the past seven years have to do with anything? With this team? To answer your question, yes. I have watched the games and you should know that there were three that they lost 8 points or less. That to me, with some shake-ups and better play could be changed to three wins. With that being said, they are on the EDGE of being a playoff team. They are learning, and they need to improve and they need to learn how to finish off a drive/opposing team. 2 to 3 more years... no way.
  11. The other guys in the locker room could also be doing more themselves to bring this team out of it's funk. How many dropped passes has their been? Dumb penalties? Etc., etc., etc. Holcomb, been there done that. Fact is, they owe him nothing more than his salary. He's a number two, maybe number three QB. That's proven. Nall. I'm curious about, but would he be lights out compared to JP? Doubt it. Again, you have to look past the QB. Not everything going wrong is his fault.
  12. I don't think the Pats fan was an angel in anyway. However, people can party it up in the parking lots before and after... that's fine. During the games.. I think there should be no alcohol. Period. Like every states, to many fights, to many people that can't hold their alcohol. Enough is enough. God knows I wouldn't want to bring my kids to a game.
  13. After your long write up. I disagree. I think in a few positions, they need to upgrade... as a whole they are on the edge of being a playoff team.
  14. Kind of agree with a few points... JP has been given a lot of 1st team work in practice as well as being the starter. Shown some progress, however has shown more regression. How long do they wait on him? Second — this problems of this season are not solely on Losman. Granted he has some DUMB turnovers. But when you have a team losing games 3 games by 8 points or less. Something has to be said about the defense. One or two drives stopped could mean the Bills have three more wins. Much better situation to be in. Other problem area that hurts Losman would be the o-line. Only thing to say is absolutely horrible. They only give him about what... 1.5 seconds to get rid of the ball? All in all who knows. I like the fact that Brady Quinn could be a Bill next year if things keep going this way. But I also think that JP could pick some teams apart if he was given 2-3 seconds, not the 1.5 he gets now. Again a three win change in the other direction... 5-2 would be nice.
  15. I can almost see your point. I have always hoped for the best in JP and he seeed like he was turning the corner during the first few games. Then and now it seems like he's regressing. Which scares me a bit. Will he ever get it? How much longer do we have to wait on this kid? Being a Notre Dame and Quinn fan... I'm starting to lean that way. Of course, I will give JP a few more games. If he continues to regress. Make the change to Nall, see what he can do and then draft Quinn. But NEVER cheer against the Bills.
  16. It's easy and shouldn't need a huge discussion. He sucks. He gets burned ALL OF THE TIME. He will cost way to watch for MAYBE a top 20 CB.
  17. It's comparable to the Sabres, every year "they suck", "they aren't going to make the playoffs".... whine, whine, whine. Then, some REBUILDING, a few years of losing and then whammo look at them now. And of course, all of the whiners are back on the high horse stating they never doubted or never left. Same will and is happening with the Bills.
  18. So true. I remember two years ago, when the Bills had th slight chance of sneaking into the playoffs. People started complaining about they played/beat. Quality wins. Who f'in cares quality or not, they would have been in the playoffs. You got to be in it to have a chance at winning it.
  19. Now with that being said... This week, must win. Yes. They have to go into the Bye-week being 3-4. Knowng that a great win can go far. As well as they come out of the bye to play... Packers - W (4-4) Indy - L (4-5) Houston - W (5-5) Jacksonville - L (5-6) San Diego - L (5-7) New York Jets - W (6-7) Miami - W (7-7) Tennessee - W (8-7) Baltimore - W, because I will be there (9-7)
  20. I believe it. Just frustrated. Understandable.
  21. Ok so if I get this right... you are not happy about the Bills pretty much in anyway. You don't like when people are optimistic and hope look for the Bills to win. And you think Nate Clements (who does suck), Ruben Brown (I liked to call him turnstile, because he was always being beat), etc., etc. should still be with the Bills. So my feelings are this: Criticize if you want, go right ahead... after all you would probably be in the majority. For me there is not enough optimistic people here and there is nothing wrong with hoping or believing they will win any given Sunday. Secondly, who cares about what other teams are doing? If you are going to dwell on the success that other teams have and constantly compare it to Buffalo, you are just going to give yourself a headache. Bottomline with that is the Bills are rebuilding, every knew that this season will probably end with only 4 or 5 wins... maybe more (we hope). Rebuilding is a process that takes a few years, and believe it or not 99% of people believe they are ahead of schedule for 2007. Which is great. Third. Blaming players. Players are usually blamed by the masses because they deserve it. Nate has done nothing but get burned left and right since last season. He gives the opposing WR way to much of a cushion, which allows the WR to basically run right past him. Pretty much every play. Ruben Brown. Again, turnstile. When he played in Buffalo he was either getting flat out beat or receiving a penalty. Now I know you or someone will bring up the ProBowl. That means nothing. Everyone knows it is a glorified popularity contest. And Drew... yeah, maybe we would have been best served to have him teaching JP. But he was a statue and took way to many sacks. With that being said, JP would have been better served with Mularkey not yanking him out of games to fast. Last year should have been full of growing pains and because of Mularkey he's (let's face it) about a year behind. He has not had enough playing time... thankfully he's getting that now. So buck up camper, sunny days are coming. Maybe not till 2007 but they are on the way. P.S. Bills 20 Pats 7
  22. Why doubt it? Look at what he has done with horrible o-lines.
