  1. Unlike some past years the draft is full of talent at all but a few positions. Marv and company should have little trouble finding bodies to fill our needs on defense. I feel thats why they have made the big free agent push to solidify the offense. Expect the draft to go; lb,cb,dt,rb,unless a bigtime franchise player falls to us at 12. You have to Billieve they have a plan and its not called rebuilding, its called making IMPROVEMENTS to the final product. Don't keep thinking the loss of NC,WM,LFB, is going to doom us. We all heard that before, ITS PART OF THE GAME. We aren't the only teams to have roster changes. The Pats look to be arming themselves to attack with the pass this year. With our Tampa 2 D, we should be OK if we can pressure Brady up front, maybe we can as we did in game 1 last year. They have lost a lot on the OL the past few years. If we get split with NE I see a playoff spot in 07.
  2. Well,as long as we're riding the "what if" wagon; AS THE MOON AND STARS ALIGN FOR THE BILLS. #1 Lawrence Timmons olb #2 Reggie Nelson fs/cb #3a Micheal Bush rb #3b Demarcus Tyler dt trade up ( our 4th, 2-7th, 08-3rd ) #3c Ryan Kalil c
  3. Least fav.. Eric (spit in yo face) Moulds...a-hole Fav.. Frank(it ain't over till the fat lady sings )Reich...true class
  4. Don't know how close you have been following the FISH but unless Joey can clone himself forty more times it ain't gonna help them.
  5. Yeah I know but this time of year its fun to "stir the pot" a little.
  6. The Bill's interactive depth chart seems very up to date. Where is John McCargo? I know is was on IR but wasn't Crowell also, he's there. I'm sure it's just a oversight ,or is it? Hmmmm.
  7. Shouldn't be hard to find, that's a pile shi- about the size of a garbage truck.
  8. Marv quickly introduced the new head of marketing who stated that all future Bills game programs would be printed in both English and French.
  9. Marv hinted that the player "to be named" in the trade had been in the league several years but due to circumstances had very little playing time. Also hinted the player was very intellectual and had "found the true meaning of life on Young St." and was now totally committed to football. A "real character" type .
  10. Well I quess everyone is going to have their own opinion. I think he has been pretty good so far. Now is a buyers market if he shine next year we won't be able to afford him.
  11. As I said I watched the Jet game last night and Willis did indeed use the"stiff arm" to lay out a DB and pick up a critical first down Also in reply to another post on his beating a DB after a catch in the flat ... yes he should , and usually does , what I meant was our passing to the backs seems too predictable or we are tipping our hand as they are usually covered by 2 or 3 defenders and take a loss or incomplete. As far as an extension goes , they are not guaranteed contracts, structure it correctly and we don't give up that much .
  12. I agree Willis says some dumb stuff, but lets not make THAT comparison. When you see Willis on the sidelines during a game He always seems '"in the game" , you rarely see the kid without a smile on his face, I've never heard anyone quote him with something mean spirited. Also I think some of what He's said was tongue in cheek and not taken that way and best of all he 's not a criminal.
  13. Got pretty bored late last night so I pulled out us stomping the Jets in their house. What a game WM had. Yes I know he only plays that way against Vilma, but is that really true? He was our running game. Bring in another back -no gain, 2yds,pop Willis 15, 8, 57, ect. As we cut him up for bait: I 've been thinking back over the year. Lets not forget Willis played last year with broken ribs, sprained ankles, puking his guts out and a O.L. that can't block. Everybody says he isn't a complete back, but I recall him PANCAKING two guys at once that had the QB dead to rights.I think he does a pretty good job in that regard. I've heard it said he's no threat receiving .Gee did he some how forget how to catch or run a route between the "U" and B-LO? Maybe we should call his number more and not throw it 10 ft. over his head or when he's surrounded by DB, LB, and a Safety, in other words mix it up a little. Don't pass it to him in the flat when everyone in the stadium can see it coming. He has no speed, show me where. At the end of a 50yd run when a DB has the angle on him or after he took around the corner for a TD. I say give Willis his extension, make him happy to be a Bill, then if it doesn't work out , lets go fishing.
  14. Oh boy, where is Tom Terrific and his wayback machine when you need him. I always thought the Bills would have won the first one. They seemed to match up better with GB and were more physical than KC.
  15. John Paul Losman will only get better. After watching all the playoff games it's great to know that our QB position will not be the one keeping us out of the show.He is playing better than all but a few off the playoff QBs. If he had the time throw that Brady and Manning usually have ,,, I shudder to think.Too bad its usually one,two , duck.
  16. To be sure it was not just Jim, I highly doubt he went partying alone, but are you not a little curious how a team with perhaps a dozen present or future HOF players lost to teams QB'd by Jeff and Mark whats their name, a career backup who had started 2 games and a guy who made a career out of one good season.
  17. I would be the first to say Jim Kelly gave 100% on most every down as a Bill. That being said, which player achieves greater success; 100% of a rested, dedicated pro, who puts the game first during the season, or the best of a very talented player with great natural abilities who could have done more? I submit that world class athletes who are truely striving to reach the pinnacle of their sport do not spend their evenings at the local tavern and certainly not the evening before their greatest challenge. Which player would you want on your team, taking up a roster spot, being the example and leader for the other players, with the hopes and aspirations of so many riding on his performance? If thats too much to ask of someone being paid tens of millions to play a "game" tell me why.
  18. Maybe an ass , but not a DUMB ASS. Oh ,sorry I'll be nice. I would never want it thought Jim wasn't a great QB,or diminish what he did and meant to the team and the fans. Point I'm thinking about is when you are a professional, being paid millions and what we do affects the lives of countless others you need to hold to a higher standard. That ideal applys not just to Jim, and not just to football players. I find it somewhat disheartening that todays society accepts almost good enough, trying pretty hard,or anything less than a 100% totally dedicated, focused effort as something to be proud of. Some people may say "Heh , your personel life is your own, who cares what you do on your own time." Seems to me that is an attitude which only goes down one road. So if we only want second best, an o.k. performance, a legacy of what ifs, well then by all means " LETS PARTY TILL WE P---! By the way , you're not a neurosurgeon are you?
  19. I think the point we're trying to make is; If Lord Jim hadn't been such a lush ( as public knowledge seems to indicate ) i.e. using the golf cart to transport the offense down to the local watering hole in training camp and partying till morning of kickoff at the big show we 'd probably have four lombardi 's...
  20. According to todays Palm Beach Post ,Jimbo was pretty loaded last night, partying to the wee hours in a Miami nightclub. Getin down on the dance floor with several partially clad women. Ahhh wonder where Jill was? Always wondered how we would have done if Marv had locked them in their rooms.
  21. That sounds likes something Dan Marino kept saying to himself.
