  1. In James Lofton's 4 years as a Bill , he averaged 700 yds and 5 TDs a year.
  2. Agreed , but in his last 5 seasons with KC( not counting last year) he averaged over 900yds and 5 TD every year. Lets see ,do we have a number 2 WR with those kind of numbers? Oh yeh, we don't even have a #1 with those stats.
  3. The Chiefs recently released WR Eddie Kennison . He was their go to guy for years. Last year he was out with hamstring and shoulder injury and only suited up for a few games. In 2006 he was good for almost 900 yds. He is 35 but still wants to play and still draws double coverage. He is a big WR at 6'1". Rookies aren't always impact players , Eddie might be what we need until a draft pick is NFL ready. Any comments???
  4. Well I don't know how much he will help the team but he sure is fast.
  5. It has been reported that the Rams are interested in acquiring Ricky Williams by trade from the Dolphins but have to wait till he is reinstated in about a week. Trade value 5th rnd. pick. Stated he would provide them the perfect balance at RB with Steven Jackson. COME ON , if thats all the Fins are trying to get we would be Dumb, dumber , dumbest if we let him get away. How about the perfect balance with A. train!
  6. Everyone can laugh all they want but the best RB option for the Bills is Ricky Williams, he will be available in trade, and at a price we can afford. He is in better shape than Portis and if you can get past the past he is still a top 5 back , maybe better behind our new OL. GITERDONE Marv.
  7. A couple of Palm Beach Post articles the past few days have quoted Dolphins as being in full blown rebuild mode. According to the articles they are looking to trade down, wanting quantity over quality in draft. They are picking up Trent Green( a stop gap starter) and releasing Daunte and looking for a mid round QB for future. Look for more veteran heads to roll as new regime builds for the future cutting ties to big cap numbers and aged players. This is our chance for a franchise back AKA Ricky Williams. GITERDONE Marv.
  8. I think you left out the one option that could have us in the playoffs this year. Trade a couple 2nd day picks to draft hungry Miami (as reported in Palm Beach Post they want quantity over quality to rebuild their roster) for Ricky Williams, our problem is solved for 3-4 years. Use our top picks on D and there you go. Miami understands they are dead fish this year with or without Ricky , as they have Ronnie Brown(#1 pick) they will trade Ricky to whoever is willing to deal. GITERDONE Marv.
  9. There are a ton of tickets already on sale on E-bay just be sure you use pay pal and the feedback is 100%
  10. If what we have seen from Ricky Williams on the field was done without passion , whoa , I can't wait to see him in Red, White and Blue with Marv and Dick whispering inspiration in his ear.
  11. Today ..... Palm Beach Post /// Dolphins say they need quantity over quality draft picks to rebuild team. Sounds to me like we can have Ricky for the asking and some low round picks. Ricky Williams & Bills O line = playoffs.... GITERDONE Marv.
  12. insert ( Ricky Williams- The Texas tornado)
  13. Again, as per all i've seen or heard, Ricky's suspension was not for weed but for something in an health food suppliment he took he was unaware of but the league didn't want to hear it because of the past. According to the interview he has been staying up on monthly testing and counseling and is clean for 3 years and no longer has the reason to smoke since he found what he was looking for in Yoga meditation. Lets move past this and be the team that has the real "Texas Tornado"in the backfield. GITERDONE Marv.
  14. Ricky played all last year and helped the Argos make the CFL playoffs did miss 4 games when he broke his arm, but that is healed,he's in shape, Yoga ect. He looked still young, fresh and ready to me. Has there EVER been a question about his on field effort. When he is in the game it is the game that counts and defenses better account for Ricky Williams or it's see ya later, adios TD.
  15. You are sooo right, don't know how I mixed them up.Sorry.
  16. Saw the Terrell Davis interview of Ricky Williams. Bottom line was T.D. thinks Ricky is going to kick ass when he returns to football. Implied Miami might not be the place to do it. Ricky says he has refound his "love of the game"missing since college days, but still wants to avoid the Media and keep a low profile. Sounds like that log cabin out in the Boston/Colden hills is calling you Ricky! GITERDONE Marv.
  17. Well,if the general is on board with Ricky we must be on to something!
  18. The Dolphins have their 1st round franchise money tied up in Ronnie Brown behind him they have more wholes in their roster than our war plan in Iraq. Their new head coach WILL entertain trade options for draft picks and clear out the "old" regime. Ricky will go cheap for a back of his ability. Please Marv GITERDONE
  19. With Ricky Williams in the backfield behind JP and P Willis in the middle behind D. Walker, we could be VERY, VERY good. Lets do it Marv.
  20. I hope Ricky gets another chance, my quess is if he does he will do--ok. Sad to see the way he has been treated, ( yes I know the rules were broken). when other players like L. Taylor, M.Irving were the biggest cokeheads of the 80's.and will end up in HOF.
  21. It would be great if all young people had your insight , my view is; he didn't shoot anybody, didn't sell drugs, didn't steal, didn't beat his wife or girlfriend, didn't lie about it, and paid for his mistakes. Shall he give a pound of flesh? Whats the saying about walking a mile in his shoes?
  22. From all accounts Ricky wasn't smokin just to get a buzz. He suffered from some real psychological problems, for which he should have taken RX. meds for but found his answer in pot early on. He has since found relief by way of Yoga and meditation. His last suspension wasn't for pot but something in a healthfood suppliment he unknowingly took. As far as him leaving the Fins high and dry , there was more to that story also. Dave Wadsdead is rumored to have helped that decision.
