  1. I had a dream last night we beat the Jets 6-3. Sanchez was awful and made a ton of mistakes, Rayner hit the game winner with 1 min left

    Go Bills

I also have a dream. That dream is the realization of all bills fans past and present. Eiither this season or next, the light finally goes on and stays on (per my dream). Nix isn't the best in the business but he's pretty effin good. He's had 1 draft being in complete charge and in my dream he continues on that path with many more great drafts and we re-ascend to where some of the most deserving fans on the planet have been wanting to return for so long. Those who still love the team will be rewarded with one of life's great lessons. With perseverance and dedication, the good guys will eventually win.

  2. I love the fact that people are so moved to change, but there is NO CHANCE Chan or Buddy are replaced at seasons end...unless Ralph goes to the great big superbowl in the sky. If that happened, unless Colonel Sanders or Foghorn Leghorn buy the team and speak Buddy-ese, these two are fixtures at One Bills Drive...

the OP said def coordinator, i.e. ron edwards. buddy's here and chan's his man. i do think there's a chance of edwards getting axed, but i doubt anyone other than wannstadt would get the nod to DC. he's already been here and knows the personnel and he and chan man crush each other. and im cool with wanny and going back to a 4 man dline front. never understood chan's 'you gotta design offensive schemes around personnel' but reluctancy to have the same flexibility around defense. you dont get that ability with a first time coordinator, gotta be a legit pro dc.

  3. Im as dissapointed as any Bills fan of the teams effort the past couple weeks. However, we've seen how good these guys can play. We have a lot of pieces in place: A good QB, a Very good RB, good wr's, a good o-line, good safeties, decent linebackers, decent d-line.....

It just seemed everything went against us these last couple games, but we're still 5-4, as opposed to 1-8 a season ago! We have a winnable game next week against the fins, and i expect our boys to come out firing, and play their best football.

The past couple weeks wasn't nearly as good as this team can be. We've seen it already. When these guys play to their potential, we can beat ANYBODY. I will continue to billieve, and I billieve that this team will make the playoffs.

    Just keep the faith....Go BILLS!

just dont see it, our offense has been exposed and our defense is banged up with little to no depth outside of dareus our defensive draft picks dont look to be panning out at cb, olb/de, ot. we have a legit no 1 wr, no no 2 wr and a legit slot wr. te is streaky. if u key on head like we've just seen he'll get you 100 yds on the ground still but hasnt been able to ignite the rest of the o to wake up. im not sure what the shot of adrenaline's gonna be against good teams to get something more from our short pass/screen pass game. we need some influx of talent at wr, olb and cb and hope that some picks other than dareus start to play better.

  4. Frankly we operate better as underdogs. Lets hope they media disrespects us all the way to the Super Bowl.

    PTR

its already there, you cant erase disrespect. you can only use it and i think this group, led by chan gailey, is humble enough to see that

  5. You know you could be more right than most see it. Most see the Bills as 4-12 last year but fail to notice we almost beat Pitt, and the Ravens. We should have gone 7-9 last year with a new head coach and new system on a very weak defensive team. That being said the Bills did improve towards the end of the year, and this year alone they are looking much stronger and better than last year. Many people will say that we are much better than last year just by the team getting another year under Chan and now they have Dave W. and he will be helping George Edwards out a lot with how to set things up. Dave is a very good defensive coach and that will show big time with Buffalo. I can see the Bills being better than 7-9. I can easily see them being a 8-8 plus team. Who knows? If Chan can open that offense up and the defense plays much better against the run then the Bills will have a shot. I see them as a true sleeper that will open eyes in a huge way this year for sure.

  6. It works but it's somewhat unreliable. Feeds cut off, get disrupted for copyright, they tend to stream a minute or two behind the actual action, etc etc. If you don't mind switching 3 or 4 times per game and missing a half a quarter of the game as a result, then it should be good. If you're the kind of fan who needs to see every play start to finish, you'd probably want to stick with your NFL Ticket.

    thanks bossman! much appreciated

  7. ATDHE was only shut down at it's .net domain

    it still operates at .tv

all of the sites that were available last year will be available this year. just at slightly different addresses

does this site really work for bills games?? like can i cancel my sunday ticket package for it? i'd really love to know from anyone who's watched games there in the past, because i got laid off this summer and would love to save the extra cash. thanks everyone!

  8. The instincts are what I want to key in on with Searcy....

    - There is no doubt that he is big enough to bring a hit....at 5'11" 223 pounds this is a BIG safety.....really he is the size of the linebackers that we USED to use in our defensive scheme. If he hits you....you are going down

    - But its not the timed 40 speed that makes a linebacker....it is the instincts to be in the right place at the right time on pass coverage.

I think this was SUCH a good draft....just a really good defensive draft for us.

  9. well the great thing about this debate is that it's not even necessary. Fairley is gone by 3. AJ Green - if he's there and we pick him, I'm psyched. If we pass on him and pick Patrick Peterson, I'm psyched. If we pass on both of them and pick Von Miller, I'm straight m*t#erfuc#!ng pi$$ed.

Man, imagine Evans and TO Green lining up together? Sick!

(can we play with the juggs machine behind center?)

Uh, why so serious? Forget about him? He was not in existence as a playmaker when TO was signed. Also, Roscoe was not a wr when TO was here either. So, in summation - you suck.

  10. My thoughts are this if we move back to the 4-3 (which im assuming we are)

    DT

OLB With great pass rushing ability.

CB-Sorry but mcgee cant stay healthy florence is getting up there and unfortunately mckelvin sucks

RT-Hopefully in some way addressed internally or in free agency

TE-I wasnt going to put this because bills fans dont even know what it means to have a good t.e but it really could make a big difference for us.

QB-I dont like Fitzpatrick I just think we have a lot more needs and we can get away with it for one more year.

WR-Hopefully we can do this internally but idk if there is a clear number 2 on our roster assuming and hopefully if Lee is dealt.

Let me know what you think I think its Dareus or Fairly at 3. I wont be furious with Patrick Peterson either as he is a game changer.

    why would you think that?

    Bills ‘D’ to be multiple

Posted by Chris Brown on January 3, 2011 – 4:29 pm

Season one under Chan Gailey was going to be one of transition, particularly on the defensive side of the ball where the transition to the 3-4 was going to be a significant undertaking. So much so that Gailey and defensive coordinator George Edwards knew that a hybrid form of the 3-4 would likely take shape knowing there was personnel still on the roster that had been entrenched in a 4-3 system. Now after witnessing a transition that proved more difficult than most anticipated, Gailey is leaning toward being a hybrid defense permanently.

“There are a lot of people that are called 3-4 fronts,” said Gailey in his season wrap up press conference Monday. ”I think we’ll probably end up being a true multiple front team instead of a true 3-4 team just because our personnel dictates that. I think we’re probably a little bit better suited. I’ve not talked to the defensive staff about this, but just looking at it on the surface right now, I’d probably say we’re going to be multiple front rather than a Kansas City which sits in 3-4 no matter what, or Cleveland which sits in 3-4 no matter what. I don’t see us being that team. I see us being more of a multiple team.”

After finishing last in the league in run defense, and a handful of players performing in the multiple fronts once the Bills played their heavier four man front more often, it appears that being able to have both defensive looks at their disposal is seen as an advantage by Gailey going into 2011.

  11. i was messing around with these the other day and was questionable on the front logo cause it's not smooth (the white outline of the red standing buffalo). But it would be really cool with that on the front. maybe even on the bottom left of the front like he wrote it. they're a little expensive to get the american apparel and you have to get 6 of them (at customink.com) but i'm a huge fan of quality tshirts. anyway, let me know what you think - I really like the bladerunner font for his name too cause it just fits
