  1. It's like he's not satisfied until somebody's feathers are ruffled.

Go ahead and ignore this fact and remind me again what indispensable leader he is on this team, how as the 20th best wide receiver in the league we should consider ourselves fortunate to have him.

Love what he can do on the field, hate the way he conducts himself like a 12 year old EVERY CHANCE HE GETS.

Relax big cat. It's not that big a deal, like at all.

  2. some more, but actually from marrone:

QUOTE TO NOTE: "No words can really put it into perspective. I am not a very good story teller, I love him and am so proud of him. He really worked extremely hard on his development in my mind we haven't even seen the best of Ryan Nassib. His development is going to take off and I truly believe that from what I have seen." Syracuse coach Doug Marrone, on the leadership of senior quarterback Ryan Nassib - The Sports Xchange

  3. There won't be a lot of teams looking to take QB's early next year. At best I see the Chefs taking a QB in the 1st, and maybe the Jets.

Doesnt matter, top qb prospects command absurd trade offers by teams looking to get into the top 5. Just thinking that the specific teams drafting ahead of us are set at qb doesnt mean that they wont highly consider a lot of picks by another team more desperate for a franchise signal caller. Gonna take some luck and the right qb prospect and more luck for the bills to get 'their guy' f-ing finally.

  4. Agree kind of, but its a little chicken and the egg. Some of those guys were developed and not necessarily expected to be elite from jump. Great QBs make their weapons elite. You could argue that Fitz helped make Stevie the weapon he is, but great QBs elevate more of their players. Good QBs may elevate a player or maybe 2. That's what we've got. A good QB, a HC who I like but might need to relinquish play calling to his actual OC to get his head out of the offensive weeds and into the 360 picture - doubt that tho.. It's a weird but not weird situation, thought we had finally turned the corner and were ready to compete but yet another buffalo head fake. I guess when you say it out loud, it's really not that weird at all but normal.

  5.

Eli- pretty close to a lock already

    Roethlisberger- a lock already

    Schaub- are you insane?

    Rivers- see: Schaub

Losman- has about the same chance of making the Hall of Fame as Schaub and Rivers

Please realize that making a Super Bowl doesn't get you admission to the Hall of Fame. Donovan McNabb has a better chance of making the Hall of Fame than either of those guys with a ring. Rivers is already past his prime and Schaub is really a game manager with a hell of a team around him.

JP Losman has a 0% chance of making it into the hall of fame. Schaub and Rivers are starting, winning quarterbacks. Their chance of HOF = possible in the realm of Earth.

McNabb? Over Eli and Ben? I thought you lost me before, but now definitely..

  6. Ah ha, ah ha. Want to laugh? Last sentence.

"As I've gotten older, it's more neat to see (Manning's) success, to see him getting two Super Bowls, because I think it just adds to the legacy of our draft class," Roethlisberger told Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger. "And all four quarterbacks -- Matt Schaub, Philip (Rivers), myself and Eli -- that were drafted there. I hope we can play well enough that one day they talk about us as maybe the best quarterback draft class of all time."

It certainly was one of the more interesting drafts of recent years. After Manning was taken first overall by San Diego, the New York Giants selected Rivers with the fourth pick and worked out a trade with the Chargers to essentially flip quarterbacks. Big Ben then went to the Steelers with the 11th pick, and Schaub went in the third round to the Atlanta Falcons. Less enticing: J.P. Losman, taken No. 22 overall by the Buffalo Bills.

  7. Tom Brady is absolutely correct. Even with the b!tc#y way he said it, he's still correct. Our collective Buffalo Bills team and organization are the reigning afc east b!tc#es. I think we are on our way to getting better. It's just that our 'better' is sadly only a little better than average.. We have no _________ which makes the upper echelon teams win. There's just something missing. I don't know what it is. And I'm not pinning it all on him, but I hope that they realize now that Ryan Fitzpatrick needs to be upgraded. I like him a lot and I think he's a good quarterback, but they are not able to put together enough of a dominant unit around him to win. At least not in the afc east. He's not ever gonna be what this current team needs him to be to win, unless this team is upgraded at a lot of positions and fortified with burgeoning depth. No one seems to have a problem dealing with our front 4. Sad. Don't know if that's players or coaches, but I do know that the players are the ones on the field which makes me lean towards them a bit more. Is it a collective failure to believe because of repeated failures? I think maybe. The weirdest part about it is that I think they will play san fran tough and I wouldn't rule out an upset win out west. The hardest part of this current iteration of b!tc#es is that I just don't know what to make of them

  8. At least Hillis had 1 monster year. Until Stevie stops racking up his 1000 yards in meaningless situations, stops being an attention hound, starts catching balls when they matter, and stops blaming God when things go wrong - I can't consider him a good player.

Wow, ew is all I have to say to you sir. Ew.

  9. Really? No one said the jets?? The Pats are out if our league for the last 10 years, that's not a rivalry that's being slaughtered. The Dolphins, eh used to be but nobody cares about them not even in Miami. To me the only really rivalry we've had (that we're currently losing) is the Jets. They're another team that's been 'on the cusp' for years and we've actually beaten them and vice versa. We hate them, their coach and their players. Sounds like a rivalry to me

I chose the Jets because record wise our overall record against them is only a few games. New England and Miami have such a gap between the records that if we swope them (past tense of sweep lol) for ten years straight, only then will we be considered rivals...

    Lol, I couldn't resist. Swept!
