I think it is time to activate Carrington and give Troupe and increased role. After all how much worse can Carrington be then stroud . Perhaps he misses a assignment here and there but he has to be able to hold up to the run better , even if is slightly worse lets get him some game expierence. As for Troupe I would like to see him in on all running downs. I have no problem with bouncing williams outside to see if he can find a spot on the end in certain packages. Just a thought

If Buddy ws wrong about Clausen he will have good company. THere is a major lack of quater back talent in the league right now and 31 teams passed on him , most twice.

Wow so you gave old Buddy three weeks . I hope he gets a nice long run. Finally a honest to god life long foot guy running the show. Everything he has done is in the best interest in building a long term winner. The fact that there was not a quaterback available at 9 was not his fault. The fact that there was very little free agent movemnet due to the change in the collective bargining agreement is not his fault. What he did do was not draft for need, like taking guys like mccargo, maybin ect. He also didn't spend big money on useless free agents like dockery. What he did was bring in as many short fixes as possible to fill massive holes left by Dickie j and his team. The sked is brutal playing probably 10 games against teams that will make the playoffs. Plus starting with green bay, jets , balt, miami and new england as 5 of the first 6 doesn't help. This is a complete rebuild . My guess next year 7-9 wins should be in order and the year after that will start a nice run of playoff or near playoff seasons. Have faith things will get better we are on the right track !

Goes to show when buddy say it doesn't help draft a player who can't play just to feel better about a position he knows what he is talking about and is following a plan there was really noway to get a qb or a left tackle in that draft without paying a hugh price. Besides maybe just maybe bell will turnout to be useful and teh bills can focus on d front 7 after they figure out the qb situation

The whole thing comes down to what is Bell . If he pans out ot be a solid left tackle by years end then the line is a unIT that will be easily shored up. On the otherhand if he is a bust then a heavy investment is needed at left tackle , taking away resourses needed to fix the other well known areas QB, OLB, ECT ECT ECT .. STAY TUNNED

It depends on a lot of things Ideally a good o line would help a qb development but we will be picking top 5 this year so if a qb is there we have to take one. People still say bell is going to be good. K mitchell said on twitter he thinks he will be a solid left tackle. If that is the case things are not a dark as they seem today .

Hard to say not having film of every snapped howard had, but i will say this he didn't seem like a disaster out there . If politicians have anything to do with saving the Bills if will come from downstate. I live in North Jersey and we get nyc media. Every time someone from downstate runs for office the talk is how are they going to win upstate support. Keeping the bill in buffalo is a cheap and easy way to gain supportr. My guess is chuckie Shumer will be your best friend on this .
