  1. You know I actually can take it and dont care what people think of my postings

but I am pretty sure that calling someone out specifically on this forum is against TOS......yet is getting overlooked by the mods?

It's not about calling someone out for being wrong--everyone who posts here frequently (and actually has a take) is going to be wrong on occasion. It's about calling people out for shouting down someone for expressing what turned out to be a remarkably prescient take. This isn't the first time it's happened. It's called accountability. If it's against the rules here, it shouldn't be.
  2. There is a lot of "anyone other than Rex " going on....Rex has proven he can coach in the league....I think this off season will get us some players to run his defense effectively and buy into his system....

When he interviewed for the Bills job last year, do you think Rex told the owner that he would need different players to run "his defense" and that it would take a couple years to build a playoff team??
  3. If you believe those are excuses, what do you think are the reasons it happened the way it did and why?

One reason is that the Bills led the league in 3-and-outs for much of the season--that cuts down on the number of targets. And of course, the Bills' "ground and pound" offense foolishly and consciously de-emphasized the passing game, as if the calendar was re-set to 1977.
  4. What I still don't like about it was the fact that, at the time, they decided to keep Bryce Brown over FJ just because he was younger. Brown was awful and should have been cut long before Jackson.

Maybe it was the fact that only a year earlier, Whaley gifted the Eagles a 4th round pick for Brown, who likely would have been released anyway -- a relatively minor, but nonetheless embarrassing, blot on Whaley's CV.
  5. Other than Aaron Rodgers (whom the Pack took in the first round and I wish we had taken), which franchise QB did the Packers take with the other nine QB picks that we missed out on?

    The answer is zero.

"Other than Aaron Rogers"--that a significant qualifier, don't you think? A team only needs one franchise QB every 10 years or so--that's the point. Last I heard, the Bills still don't have one. But even with Rogers in the fold, the Pack have continued to draft QBs for depth, because you never know. Because Rogers has rarely been hurt, most of the guys they drafted never got a real shot, although Flynn did pretty well when he played.
  6. Billsfans,

I am satisfied enough with Tyrod that I don't think we need to waste a first on a QB. Cook is showing he is not going to live up to a 1st Round pick.

I say it's time to revamp the D. Since Rex is getting his shot, the only thing we can do is find his guys and roll with it.

If the axe falls on the D again then Pegs has no choice but to give Rex the boot (personally I wish it happened this year)

But to me there is no QB worth the trouble of wasting a #1 on.

    My draft goes

    #1 LB or DE (BPA)

    #2 DE or LB (BPA)

    #3 WR

    #4 OT

    #5 DE

    #6 CB

    #7 WR

So you're cool with going into 2016 with EJ as the backup again after yet another year of not drafting a QB? Fortunately, I'm pretty sure Rex and Whaley are not down with that strategy.
