  1. No just suggesting they may be options. But realistically I don't see us landing Cousins because he'll either stay with Washington or go to a team willing to make him one of the top paid QB's in the NFL.

Still believe we draft a QB next year though anyway since that's obviously the new regime's plan so it's a moot point anyway.

I very much doubt the new regime has made up their collective minds about what they will do at QB in 2018, and that's OK. Too many unknowns at this point. We don't know: How Tyrod will finish out 2017 season, which QBs will be available in FA (including Cousins), where the Bills will draft, where other QB-needy teams will draft, how the 2018 QBs will play this fall, which draft-eligible QBs will enter the draft, etc. It's fine to speculate about these things now, but that all it is, and no one should pretend that OBD has made up their minds what they intend to do next year.
  2.

Yeah I can see that, But San Fran is a complete dumpster fire. Since Harbaugh left they have had 3 coaches and went 5-11, 2-14 and are now 0-5 this season. Who's to say how long Shanahan will even be their HC. Cousins has played a ton of football since he played for Kyle. Why would he go to San Fran when the money will be the same and he can walk into a stable situation where he can win now.

I just think the media is overstating Kirk's desire to be reunited with Kyle.

I agree. It seems the idea that Cousins to SF is a done deal is based largely on speculation, not to say it couldn't happen, of course...
  3. Im baffled. These HCs will spend a dozen hours a day gameplanning and going over situations yet will completely crap the bed on trying to figure out what to do on 4th and short in enemy territory. How was punting there even an option?

Fox is absolutely awful. The fact that he was ok starting the season with Mike Glennon, and stuck with him for four putrid games, tells you everything you need to know.
  4. If you can't hit them high, you have to hit them low. The funny thing is most players I've heard say they rather get hit in the head than the knees. It just looked unfortunate to me. As for "almost OB", that's still in bounds, so you hit it. Sorry. It's football.

This idea that "you can't hit high so you have to go at a guys knees" is nonsense. What's not allowed today is going after a guy's head. That's leaves plenty of real estate available for a clean tackle. Frankly, I don't know if the tackle on Clay was against the rules and should have drawn a flag. (I would say "yes" because to me it was a textbook example of "unnecessary roughness".) The question posed by the OP was if it was a dirty play and it certainly was that. And just because a guy is still in the field of play does not mean anything goes. In my book, and probably the rule book too, taking a guy's knee out as he is running out of bounds is a dirty play and should draw a flag.
  5. Going into the 2017 Season so many on The Stadium Wall looked at the Bills schedule and assumed the team was doomed. Myself included.

As we head into the Bye Week the remaining schedule (at least on paper) looks much different. Only FOUR of the ELEVEN remaining games are against teams with a winning record and that includes at the Jets, at Kansas City, home and away with New England. The other SEVEN opponents are either 2-3 or 2-3 at this point.

Six Home games and five Road games left.

    Go Bills! (Please)

This loss needs to be kept in perspective. It was fugly, but the Bengals are pretty good and this was our second tough road game in two weeks. More importantly, we've got a pretty soft slate of games coming up after the bye (three of the next four at home), and should go into KC on Thanksgiving weekend no worse than 7-3.
