  1. I’d have more confidence playing KC…
  2. I doubt they’d care very much about what sees they get
  3. If Denver wins tonight that game will mean nothing to them.
  4. If Denver wins this game, they will be sitting all their starters against KC in the season finale…
  5. Right there is the difference between Justin Herbert and Josh Allen…
  6. I’d welcome either of these teams to Orchard Park on Wild Card weekend, but especially the Chargers…a real fringe playoff team.
  7. Don’t we want Denver to have something to play for in week 18 vs KC? Otherwise they’ll just rest everyone. I think we want Denver to lose tonight.
  8. Rest easy…if that had happened, we would not have drafted Josh Allen…
  9. Flexed, nonetheless. They changed the time of the Bills-Pats game because it is more attractive than the previously scheduled late game(s).
  10. I think that's right. And I would imagine for a guy at his level, at this stage of his career, teams would honor that and not make a waiver claim just to keep him from going to another team.
  11. We only put up 19 on the Pats?? Fire Brady now!
  12. I don’t trust the Falcons to know whether or not Penix is ready. No one knows until he gets out there. I suspect the only reason Cousins has started this long is his contract.
  13. Guess what? NFL fans like scoring and hate defensive battles. They also hate watching bad quarterbacks.
  14. Drafting a talented QB is never a bad move for a franchise. Obviously, we don't know how good Penix will be, but as you say, if he works out, then the Falcons absolutely did the right thing. Personally, I think he's going to be very good and will give them an immediate boost this year...
  15. At least two weeks too late, but at least they did it. Wonder if the owner had to step in…
  16. Not in Oregon…we get a “run-for-the-bus” game between two teams that are done for the year.🤔
  17. Oh, I'm not saying these games will all be blowouts...I fully expect one or two of them to be obnoxiously competitive, but on paper, a title contender couldn't ask for a better trio of games to close out the season, especially with two of them at home.
  18. Actually about 23%, according to DraftKings…those are the shortest odds of any team. Wrong
  19. If the Steelers beat Baltimore on Saturday, the Chiefs’ next two games would be against playoff teams with very little to play for and every incentive to rest players…there’s a good chance that Denver won’t have any reason to try hard in the last game of the season, too, other than their hatred of KC…unfortunately, that’s just the way the schedule has worked out. We can’t complain; our last three games are against complete tomato cans….
  20. Those are the best Pats unis, though…
  21. I think he sits this week and they re-assess before the Steelers game. They’ve won the Super Bowl twice without the first seed, so it’s not the end of the world…it’s far more important to go into the playoffs with a healthy Mahomes.
  22. I agree with all of this, but there’s another factor, as well, that supports Campbell’s decision…the worst possible outcome for Detroit was the Bills getting possession on their own 30 and chewing up 6 minutes on a long drive, regardless whether they scored a TD. In this situation (the onside kick) the Bills only ran off one offensive play. And the Bills’ D was pretty gassed at that point and needed a rest.
  23. No one can match him, period. On the other hand, I believe an inferior team has a better chance against the Bills in a snow game at OP than in a controlled environment…snow adds randomness that evens the playing field against an inferior opponent. It’s also worth remembering that two of our three division rivals, plus the Chiefs and the entire AFC North, are cold-weather, outdoor teams who are unlikely to be troubled by playing in cold, snowy weather…the NFC is more of a dome, fair weather conference.
