What choice do they have? They’re trying to replace him, but the guys they’ve drafted just aren’t ready, and might never be.

After seeing Trevor Lawrence go toe-to-toe with Josh Allen last week, I think he has to be in the conversation with Herbert, Jackson, Burrow and Tua. Really good player who’s definitely on the rise.

It’s probably still a top 12 defense, which should be good enough with our top 3 (or better) 100% healthy offense.

I have not shifted my argument. The Bills are good but not good enough. They might very well rise up and beat Philly, but I think it’s unlikely. The Bills have been BAD in 2 of their 5 games this year. Philly has not been blowing people out but have new offensive and defensive coordinators, and they’re winning. They just went across country and whipped a surprisingly good Rams team.

McDermott doesn’t lose to teams like the Giants and Pats. I’m counting those as wins right now.

The Bills have probably been healthier than the league average, going back to the beginning of last year.

Those three teams have lost a total of one game this year. They are clearly in a tier above the Bills. The Bills are good. If things go right, they probably beat Jacksonville 50 percent of the time…but that’s it.

I agree with everything you said. This is a playoff team, that will exit relatively early in the playoffs when they have to play a really good defense or another elite QB.

The Bills were soundly beaten despite getting two huge turnovers. It was a pathetic performance by the offense.
