  1. No it doesn't sound like excessive force to me. In San Diego, occasionally they will put up a checkpoint on different roads to screen for drunk drivers and they always catch a bunch. No one seems to mind or complain. In my wild and excessive youth, I came out of Birdie's 19th hole in Allentown drunk as a skunk. For whatever reason there was a cop there and he grabbed me and threw me head first into the side of the car and then threw me into the back of the car. The impact gave me a black eye. People around were jeering about police use of excessive force, Brutality even. But nothing ever came of it. Thats what I would more define as excessive use of force.
  2. Good logic. Let's hope you are correct.
  3. Cant be, I havn't saved up my $500 mil yet.
  4. The Chargers are locked up for a about 10 more years if I remember correctly. It may be even longer than that.

  8. 100.7 here in San Diego converted to JACK
  9. Does this mean Travis has been dealt and waiting for some June 1st action to happen before TH can be signed?
  10. The bigger question being missed here. Is that the teacher has no skills to control a classroom without resorting to physical abuse? I'm sorrry, but this makes the teacher grossly inferior and should be fired. Teachers are taught the skills to manage a classroom without resorting to abusive tactics. Ask your childs teacher at school what they think of this incident.
  11. Too bad all she really needed was a good pair of running shoes and run 5 miles a day. She would lean out in 3 months.
  12. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
  13. It was TD running Abu Graib prison !
  14. I think a lot of you remember a 2 inch strip of scotch tape across your lips, which is alot more figurative than restrictive action. This teacher went completely around the kids head about 10 times creating layers. Way out of line. My mind set is this. If discipline is necessary, I will administer it at home. No one on this earth has the right to touch my child in anger or corrective action. Police, teachers, no-one. If there is a problem, call me and I will deal with the scenerio. This teacher should be fired, if the only way they can deal with a talkative child is to tape their head like a mummy. Teachers are trained to deal with disruptive behaviors in college and the districts publish guidelines. Good quality teachers are aware and skilled at how to deal with these scenerios without resorting to abusive behavior.
  15. The only reason I'm interested at all is that she was so good in Parent Trap. It's kind of neat to watch kids grow into adults and their careers continue.
  16. I always root for the Bills first. But am never dissappointed if the Chargers are doing well. It is always great to be Bills south as well.
  17. I'll have to think for awhile about this one because there are so many amazing things to choose from.
  18. TD designed the Bermuda Triangle and has a house right in the middle of it. I hear he sells the ship wrecks cargo on E-Bay to pay for FA signings.
  19. The Riddler and the Penguin have to be the best.
  20. TD was the second shooter on the grassy knoll.
  21. Too many hot dogs have been consumed. Slowed them down.
  22. San Diego for obvious reasons.
  23. This thread proves the old saying in Fort Erie. When we saw a big Cadillac or some other large boat for a car with New York plates, we would say "Hot Dog Eater!' always hogging the road in the fast lane.
  24. Whats up with the article about Jacksonville intersted in TH ? I didnt want to sign up to read the article.
