  1. Would have loved to grab him in the 7th. As Mayock and NFLN guys indicated, he's got the skills just need to develop. Too bad...
  2. If Easley can play it will be great!!
  3. I'm good with Streeter. We'll develop him in time for our acquisition of a franchise QB!
  4. That would make me extremely happy because aside from that pick I've been very satisfied with this draft. This off-season has kicked ass!!
  5. WalterFootball: " 4/25/12: Carder had a phenomenal Combine and pro day where he showed off more speed than many gave him credit for. With those two performances, he illustrated his speed to cover a lot of ground in the NFL. Carder has received a fair amount of interest in the form of pre-draft visits.
  6. Buddy has made up for his 3rd round pick with today's picks. I am VERY happy. We're getting quality players at positions of need who are BPAs too. Things are really looking up for us. Now all we need is a franchise QB.
  7. The Cordy Glenn pick is also proof of that. Hope your analysis gets these other folks off the ledge!! Thanks for the insight.
  8. As our draft appears to be going well IMHO, I thought it would be nice to discuss other teams' f ups so we can feel better about our draft. I'll start with the 'Skins taking Cousins in the 4th after trading away a king's ransom for RG III. WTF were thery thinking? Their picks were even more precious due to the trade. Who's next?
  9. I loved that! A guy who will dish out punishment. We can always use more of that in the secondary.
  10. Buddy said no TEs this year.
  11. Wonder if Buddy is a member of any Southern "social organizations".
  12. Sounds good to me. Thanks for the insight.
  13. And he'll stick him good!!
  14. Snippet from WalterFootball: "4/25/12: Bradham played well in 2011, becoming the first Seminole since Marvin Jones to lead the team in tackles for three straight seasons. Bradham had 86 tackles with 9.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, three passes broken up, two interceptions and a forced fumble this year. He played well against Miami and Oklahoma. Bradham is fast and physical, but his awareness and instincts can be off at times. He played well at the Senior Bowl and had an excellent Combine. Bradham blazed a fast 40 time did reasonably well in the field drills." Led FSU in tackles for 3 years. Speaks volumes about this kid.
  15. Mayock--Bradham one of the few 43 OLBs in draft, Sam LB who will be contributor on ST. Glad we were able to get a solid OLB. Thought we blew it last night in the 3rd.
  16. NFL Network blows ESPN away. No contest.
  17. Buddy said this draft was deep at WRs and he values draft picks (i.e., no trading ups). So what does he go and do? Drafts a WR in the 3rd and trades a pick to do so (for all of those mocking the complainers that the pick traded was merely a 7th -- can you tell me when Stevie was drafted?).
  18. Al Davis made this pick from the grave as a favor to Ralph!!! Here's a scouting report on him--track guy who plays some football: http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/college_player_scouting_report.html&player=36205 Buddy just ruined the draft for me. Too many more talented players were available at WR and where the f is our OLB?
  19. I've done a complete 360 on Martin. Used to want him at 10. However, as I researched, I kept hearing negative things about him. Why use your 2nd on a guy some people think will never be capable of playing LT? We can get an OT with questions in the 3rd. Why not take an OLB who the scouts have nothing but good things to say about? David is my guy. Draft McCants in the 3rd.
  20. All kidding aside, don't you have any concerns about taking a WR with weight issues? Picks are so precious, it scares the crap out of me because you don't know which guy you're getting--sloppy Alshon or chiseled Alshon (BTW thanks for your in put in the Gilmore thread, it was very informative).
  21. Here's one scouting report that disagrees with your opinion: http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/college_player_scouting_report.html&player=41798 Found this quote from a paper: "Other scouts have compared Sanu to current New York Giants star Hakeem Nicks." (sure you'll be OK with the article because it notes that Todd McGay believes Sanu is overrated) http://newbrunswick.patch.com/articles/which-nfl-team-will-draft-rutgers-star-sanu Though I don't hold myself out as anything other than a passionate fan, I've watched both guys on multiple occasions (Jersey boy) and to my untrained eye, I believe Sanu will develop into a WR like Nicks. Let's check back in 4 years, perhaps I'll be wrong. At the all you can eat Chinese buffet? Please take a look at this picture: http://mobile.dawgsbynature.com/2012/2/15/2801296/anyone-who-wants-alshon-jeffery-needs-to-see-what-he-looks-like-far
  22. That would make my day too!!! Then we use one of our 4th rd picks to get OT help and BPA it for the rest of the draft.
  23. Sanu = Hakeem Nicks. Jeffery = The Hamburglar.
