Flyers fans at the end of the game were awesome IMO..the Lets Go Flyers chant when the team was standing there devastated was pretty cool. Well I somewhat agree with you to a point. The Western Conference does have the 1 and 2 seeds playing, so what happened there?

These are exceptions and generally not the rules. 1995 Panthers: Low Seed made a run to the Finals 1999 Sabres: Made a run as a low seed, made it to the Finals 2003 Ducks: Lower seed team made a run, made it to the Finals 2006 Oilers: Low seed, made a run to the Finals. Notice a trend here? The run is made, but they generally don't win. And don't give me the Devils as a 4 or 5 seed: The 1995 Cup was a strike shortened year and the other year they won as a 4 seed we all pretty much knew they were a top level team anyway.

Let's not bring logic into this debate. I find it amazing how fans can so accurately judge a team's heart and character just by watching the games and not being inside the players heads, locker rooms, homes, practices, etc. It is pretty simple: You win, your heart isn't questioned, and it is inflated. When you lose, it is questioned. It is a lame excuse for a team that loses. End of story.

That trade, along with the Garnett deal to Boston, had an influence from former players to the teams they were going to, to me that was fairly obvious. I thought Kobe was 100 percent tenacious and never checked out? Remember he wanted out of LA, so let's not paint him as this perfect soldier. That is the point about Lebron. And plus, he has a bunch of nice guys on his team, where is the other leadership? Where is the coaching? He needs out of Cleveland and he knows it.

I think some fans need to be reminded about how fickle NBA stars can be at times. Lebron is being called out for being a bad sport, not showing up in the big game etc...most of the time lebron performs well, players have nights off. Let me show you data from a game in 2006 about the great Kobe Bryant. Keep in mind this is AFTER he won 3 titles and before the team was basically given Gasol by an old friend Jerry West (lets just call that what it was , a hookup): Kobe Bryant didn't stick around after the game for hugs and handshakes, choosing to walk off the floor rather than congratulate Steve Nash and the Suns Strangely, though, Bryant's will to keep shooting didn't last much longer, bringing a muted close to his prolific season. The Ocho attempted just three shots in the second half after ringing up 23 points in the first, in what looked suspiciously like a surrender. 1 basket in the 2nd half of a Game 7...the biggest game...and do you recall when Kobe was bitching to get out of LA? Boy, we all have short memories sometimes.
