  1. I find it amazing how much of an impact these ESPN guys have on sports fans. When Mort talked about reach etc...he was grilled here to no tomorrow...if the Bills are disrespected by Clayton, he is a martian...but if Jaws says we are the suprise team in 2007, then he is Knighted in Buffalo. Unreal.
  2. Classic!!!!
  3. He will once Ted's Hot Dogs on Transit Road sends him his reference letter
  4. I did not watch the entire pre game show but watched the entire game and almost all the post game show...was there even a mention about Bill Polian and all the success he has had...and about GM'ing the Buffalo Bills to 3 straight Super Bowls? I wonder if Polian were a GM of another team in the NFL other then Buffalo if this would have gotten more press. Please correct me if I am wrong, was this covered at all? IMO would have been a good spot for an interview etc if you ask me.
  5. Mike Lodish with Denver?
  6. Not bad...on sale at Wal-Mart...but nothing quenches my thrist quite like a Capri!!
  7. Prrof positive that drinking Jack Daniels at 6:18 EST on a Monday with no MNF in sight is not advisible.
  8. Capri Sun....man, that was refreshing!
  9. Wait a minute here... If baseball stadiums sold their naming rights they are greedy bastards... Or in other sports too...we call it greed etc.. But in the NFL if Ralph decided not to make Ralph Wilson Stadium Geico Stadium, it is a problem??
  10. Tom Brady hands down. Mostly for the fact Tom is used to playing in inclement weather and have proven to perform in bad weather on multiple occassions. Rain in Southern Florida on one night against a team with the worst starting SB QB ever and a defense missing two big pieces does not convince me to take Manning over Brady.
  11. I understand your point...but I do not agree with it 100 percent about not looking at LB in the draft....it depends on who is available...if there is a guy who is too good to pass up at a certian point in the draft and if he happens to be a LB, grab him. You can never have enough good LB's IMO. As for Wire, I am glad he is back, because he really wants to be here. And he has shown signs of improvement, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to help the team. How anyone can be upset with this move is beyond me.
  12. Do not try to use logic here on TSW... Here is the response we need to have: Coy sucks...bad signing...Marv have more Geritol.... Ralph move or sell the team, get the trucks on One Bills Drive and move to Toronto..or Los Angeles We are doooooommed!!!
  13. Good point!
  14. You all make fun of the fact he saw Spikes at a Playboy party and went to talk to him....like any of you here would have done anything different
  15. I know the Patriots coming out as a team in the SB years ago has seemed to change the introduction procedure for the game...but I always liked when they would announce the starting offense and starting defense from each team for the Super Bowl...I thought that was good for the buildup of the game.... I say thumbs down to the team annoucement
  16. Bills should have given Bruce Mathinson more time to develop as a QB!!! Why did they use Old Man Vince?
  17. I agree with that somewhat...and when you consider the fact that so many sports fans are sheep and will believe what is fed to them...the fact that ESPN radio 'celebs' hate the NHL, people will blindly buy into it.
  18. Throw fantasy football in as another reason for the NFL's insane popularity. I think most people here think because a sport like the NFL has monster ratings, it automatically means the overall product is better. Even though the fact is the NFL's product has declined over the years, NFL fans get so defensive and say "well, our ratings are trememdous" and "look at all the money the NFL is making" Why do some here do that? I believe it is because they are greatly influecned by people like Colin Cownerd, that is why.
